UPDATE:I've now used these shears 4 or 5 times and unfortunately they are no longer springing open after use. The blades have to be pulled apart. I will be returning them as they clearly aren't functioning as intended,I knew going in that these didn't have a cushioned grip, but I wanted the long blade length for topiary shearing.They do a fine job and I'd definitely recommend them. They would get 5 stars with a cushioned grip. When trimming topiary (or a Belgian Fence), things that require precision and prolonged use, that little extra detail would make all the difference.Still, great value for the money.

I bought these to help trim up grass that was growing along chain link fence line that the trimmer couldn’t reach….between this pair and a smaller pair, I had great success

These are great for cutting weeds in hard to reach places... I have a big prickly pear cactus and these work great for trimming weeds away... I recommend 👍🏻

These things are represented as having 9" blades. The product is 9". They cut fairly once. After that, they are useless. I have scissors that cut and last better that these things.I threw them away after the first day of using them.
