It is NOT 100% honey. The first ingredient is refinery syrup which is a byproduct of refining cane sugar. The second ingredient on the list is honey which means there's actually more refinery syrup than actual honey in the product.

Q: Is this product still made with refinery syrup?

Our Granulated Honey does contain sugar in order to keep this product in a powdered state. Otherwise, the honey would tend to revert to it's liquid form. Thank you!

Q: what is the shelf life: sealed? open?

For reference, 100% pure natural honey NEVER goes bad in it's standard form, opened or not. Google how to tell what is actual pure honey. Don't get me wrong, I've purchased several other products from this manufacturer, both powdered and granulated, and absolutely love their products. I just don't see the need to spend a premium price on something that doesn't go bad, especially considering that there are added ingredients listed here that would limit shelf life. Save your money on this and put it toward one of their awesome dairy-based powdered cheese, heavy cream, and granulated eggs instead. I will vouch for those products, as I have used them many times, and are perfect for long-term storage on things that would typically spoil much sooner in their original form.
