Is this the bottle with the brown aloe plant on bottle as advertised or is it the one with the green aloe plant?

The container in the picture with the Miracle of Aloe logo in brown has been updated at the factory. The new packaging features the Miracle of Aloe logo in green and the triangle to the right in a lighter green color with white text. Either container is authentic. For some time, the older packaging will be available in retail marketplaces until existing supplies are exhausted.

How do you get the pump to work?

If you look on Amazon there is a graphic that illustrates how to install the pump. Basically, you remove the foil seal and screw the pump base down securely onto the top of the bottle. Then holding the center plastic ring located between the pump cap (the part you screw on) and the pump top so the ring cannot move, rotate the pump top counterclockwise until it releases and springs up. It may be slightly difficult to rotate at first, but firm pressure should do the trick. Once the pump top is up, press up and down several times to prime it. Once the cream/lotion starts to come out of the pump top, you're all set.

I've been using O'Keeffe's for my feet for years. This past year, they changed the formula and I read that it was not as effective anymore so I went on a hunt for a new cream and found this one. When I first put it on, I was skeptical. It feels lighter and wasn't thick and sticky as I'd been used to with Okeeffe's. However, oh my goodness! Not only is it hydrating, that fast absorption makes it so pleasant to use and I can see the improvement over time overall! My heels are still rough but it's so weird because it's not cracked and looks smooth. Highly recommend, and give it a week for the effects to really show.
