Sturdy bit of kit!
This is an excellent bit of kit! Sturdy, durable and is likely to last me forever!

Stitching poor and leaks the plastic grey sand
Less than 3 months old but over the return window - only used for walking on a treadmill - stitching falling apart and the grey sand leaking all over the floor. First thought my treadmill had an issue. Don’t buy - poor quality.

Only lasted 3 months
Really great product to wear but only lasted 3 months before all the iron filings started spilling out. Only used for morning walks. No vigorous workouts or impact work so product should have lasted much longer.

A very comfortable fit, very neat

I'm liking this weighted vest. It's very comfortable and suits me well. I only use it for adding weight to exercises such as pull ups, press ups and as a general vest when weight training. I don't use it to run in, so I can't really comment on how it feels for that. On my digital scales it weighs exactly 7.95kg. (Photo) It says it is filled with iron sand? It's very magnetic, so I've know reason to doubt that it is. It has reflective strips front and back, for when (if) you're running in it. When you put it on, you need to have the female part of the clasp at the front, or you'll never be able to clip it up on your own. I'm guessing, about a 40inch waist would be the maximum size that you could clip it together on. For me, the build quality is pretty good, everything is nicely sewed and it's very sturdy. If you run in it and it rubs, then I guess there could be a chance that some bits could start to fray, but, as I say, that's not something I can comment on. It feels quite heavy in the hands, but once on, the weight is nicely, evenly distributed and I find it very comfortable to wear. Overall, I'm very happy, and consider it a good buy. I bought the 5kg vest to add some extra resistance to weight training workouts. Initially I was pleased with the item but within a week of using it it has ripped on both sides (see photos) Extremely poor quality!
