A very well constructed folding rack.
I bought this for a rental unit with limited space in the bathroom. I thought a folding shelf would be a great way to save space when it was not needed. I am surprised at how hefty the aluminum brackets are. They are constructed of a heavy aluminum alloy that appears to have been hard anodized. That is a pleasant surprise since this is being mounted in a bathroom The anodized parts should have no problem with the humidity of a bathroom. My only criticism is that the bar is a lighter gauge aluminum than the brackets. That said, it the bar can probably hold more weight than the drywall could handle, so I am keeping my rating at a solid 5 stars. This is a far better product than I expected. It is a great deal at this price.

Just what I hoped for
My house lacks for closet space. So I'm always looking for a way to expand what I have. Even if that means hanging clothes in the laundry room "to be put away," and leaving them there until there is space in the closets for them. Don't judge me.This little rack is perfect for that. My laundry room doesn't have any other place to hang things. This is sturdy enough to hold about 30 items of clothing. It comes with S hooks as well, and the picture shows it holding like purses, but I haven't used any of those. I am sure that the rack is sturdy enough to hold it if I did want to use it for that, though. My rack is mounted into studs in my walls, so I am also sure that that lends to the sturdiness of it. If you are not able to mount it, and you use anchors in dry wall, I would suggest getting some heavier duty anchors than the ones that are included if you plan to put much weight on it.

PERFECT: Just what I need for my garage sale to hang clothes
I want to start having garage sales twice a year to start reducing decades of clothes and things I no longer need and wanted to find something to hang clothes on that was not a stand alone rack (that I would have to find a place to store) and this is PERFECT! I installed this in my garage and I screwed it directly into the studs (I can easily see where studs are on my unpainted walls) and I used my shower rod to hang the clothes on. To prevent the rod from moving, slipping, falling off, I wrapped and tied it with a resistance band that I cut lengthwise, down the middle, so I had 2 long strips (see picture.) Before I installed it I took one of the brackets to Lowes and found a 5 ft length of PVC pipe that fit through the largest hole (see photo) (pipe was $4.95) and if my idea for using the shower rod did not work then I would have used the PVC pipe. I am THRILLED with how it turned out and I can hang clothes on the rod and I will hang purses on hooks in the holes on each side. Once garage sale is over, I can put my shower rod back and fold up the brackets so I don't bang my head into them when not in use and I can hang some yard tools from the hooks at bottom of each bracket (see photo.)Some Tips:1. If you are going to be using this as a closet system then make sure to screw the brackets directly into studs to hold the weight of your clothes and I would also suggest getting some longer screws. For my purposes the screws that came with it are fine but I have had a clothes rod fall and rip out part of a wall (many years ago) and if that is what you are doing then please get some 2 inch to 3 inch screws and screw them into studs.2. Use a level, it really helps. I used a straight edge and a level to mark in pencil where I wanted it to go (see picture.)3. If you are going to use it as designed, as a drying rack, and will be installing it into drywall but not studs then watch some YouTube videos on installing Molly screws/drywall anchors. I did that for another project and watching a few 5 minute videos will save you A LOT of aggravation. The seller includes all the screws and drywall anchors needed to install this rack.I am VERY HAPPY with this rack system and the brackets are VERY sturdy and Excellent Quality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Convenient for clothes drying
This is a nifty little clothes rack with a convenient collapsible design. I appreciate that it folds away and you're essentially getting two sets of hooks, depending on how it's installed. I hung this over my bathtub specifically for drying wet clothes right out of the washer.Don't let the super easy installation video fool you. The included anchors and screws are basically useless and cheap. There's no way they can hold any amount of weight, as demonstrated by the rack popping right out of the wall sans clothing. So what should've taken me 10 minutes took 45 with new holes to patch. Also, the aluminum bent slightly when I tried to remove the old stripped screws. This is not a bad product. It serves its purpose and it's what I need. It's also priced well. Just be sure to have your own screws/anchors if you don't have a stud for required stability. I didn't so I ended up using my own and braced the rack on top of the tile.

Pretty Nice
I have a small house. When I saw these I thought it would be great for hanging up my damp woolen items to air dry in the laundry room. Installing it should have been easy except the drywall ended up being half an inch thick so neither the original anchors nor the bigger ones held. I ended up using the only wooden joist available which was a little too close to the wall.Even with all these issues (which are probably unique to a 1950s house), these are pretty nice. They’re well made, light weight with a few hanging options including a rod. I went with a single bracket to hold a few items over my washing machine with hangers. Once I attached it to the joist it worked perfectly and has just enough damping on the hinge that the bracket will stay vertical or stick out horizontally. The second one is probably going over the bath in the bathroom.

Perfect
The wall clothes dryer is perfect. Saves having large clothes drying standing in the living room. Placed above window and radiator is directly below. Washing dry overnight.
