Can you put the cartridges in the fridge? I'm new to brewing, but I'd like to put my minikeg with cartridges in the fridge to keep cool.

I keep my key in the fridge but I do see any advantage to putting cartridges in as well. The CO2 is condensed and cold on transfer. I'm sure they could sit in the fridge just as well.

Do these work with a Drinkworks machine?

Thanks for the question! I don't believe these will work for the Dreamworks machine. Our Co2 cartridges are 16 grams with 3/8" thread size. I believe the Dreamworks requires a larger cartridge with a larger thread size. You may want to inquire with the company that makes the Dreamworks. Hope this helps.
