Given as a gift. Had all the necessary tool to start canning for the first time. Seems to be decent quality.

I bought this and a pan for my husband for his birthday, and so far everything is great quality. It has gone through 6 canning sessions, and a good amount of products for the money. Its easy to use and comes with a good little book with a lot of good information in it.

Everything is basically as ordered.Everything is smaller than normal Canning utensils. The jar holder that removes hot jars is a manual It Is not spring-loaded like my old one. The The funnel is more suited for small mouth Jars VS wide mouth jars and the height of the funnel is not very high which if you're not cautious could overflow and possibly injure yourself. What I Was excited about what's the ladle, Which is exceptionally small Two and a half inches little bit more In diameter and not very deep at all. Not something I would use to be dipping. Boiling hot jams or jellies and definitely would not be large enough to scoop out much if you're doing vegetables. But as a beginner kit for someone... it's okay. Worth The money. Very light weight.

I am honestly reviewing this product as part of a promotion. Our family tested it out as we canned several batches of jam. This kit was well packaged in a small box (eco-friendly). It's pretty great for new canners or people canning small batches. The canning basket/rack (pictured) is terrific for lifting jars from one place to another, but the handles are short, so they could be a problem for lifting pints out of boiling water. The included lids are excellent. They all worked perfectly. (Bands were not included.) We really liked the magnetic wand for lifting lids and bands, and the measurer (pictured) that takes the guesswork out of how full to fill your jars. That's helpful when you have to move fast and don't have time to stop and agonize about whether you've left too much or too little headroom in a jar. Everything was fairly sturdy and well made. The only item we had concerns about was the lifter. The reason is that the grippy part that grabs a jar is straight, not contoured/round, so we were nervous about dropping jars when using it. The funnel and ladle are on the small side, but if you're moving a little slowly or doing small batches, they're fine. Otherwise, great kit.

Perfect starter kit. Good quality! All one needs to begin canning.

First time canning and this was the perfect kit for me. Made awesome pomegranate jam.

This set has every tool you need for your canning needs! I used to do it all by hand that left me with many burns each time, but not anymore! This is the best Canning set! No more burning my hands filling jars, tightening lids, picking up hot jars or water bathing. This set came with everything to prevent my hands from getting injured! It even has a magnetic lid picker and cute labels for the jars! I am saving these fancy labels when I give away my canned goods to family and friends to make the jars pop out from any other jar out there. Super glad to have this set. Love the green color, super cute!
