Minions: The Rise of Gru [DVD] [2022]

I saw this film with my three kids (aged between 9 - 4) at the cinema when it was in theatres. As it went down well I have added this DVD to the collection - we still buy a few films on DVD for use with an in-car player when travelling. This, along with the prequel, is a great kids film that appeals across a wide age range. One thing I will say is that buying this film and the first one separately on DVD actually worked out cheaper than buying the double pack of both films (at least at the time I did it).

Bought this from Amazon, arrived on time and in tip top condition.The film itself is good and worth watching but I'm unsure if its worth watching again, I'd watch another Minions film but this film in my opinion is just a standard film that doesn't add anything new to the franchise. Gru is about 12 years old, in school and wants, when asked what he wants to be replies a super villain. It's the story of how Gru did his first kinda heist but ended up stopping the the baddies, so Gru steals something from the baddies, something they Indiana Jones stole in the first place and it's basically Gru stealing something and then having the thing retrieved by the anti villain squad. Like I said, once watched is it worth watching again? For me, not really.
