Anti-climax
Anti-climax.I found this book incredibly difficult to read due to poor syntax. The ideas, while compelling, have been thrown together in a mish-mash.The dissertation on NLP lacked credibility, and the rest of the book is a regurgitated version of Robert Cialdini's ground-breaking ideas on persuasion, blended with several cognitive biases.I guess imitation is the highest form of flattery.I do not recommend it.

Basic Psychological Principles Described With an Unethical Bent
This review is for the Kindle version with the Audible edition. There is nothing new or revealing in this book. It is simply a restatement of basic psychological principles albeit executed in dark, nefarious ways. It was not difficult to listen to. The expert narration actually made it quite pleasant but for people with any basic exposure to psychology, it will be nothing more than a regurgitation universal principle that someone may apply either ethically or unethically.

'Dirty little tricks' wrapped in typos.
The ideas presented in the book are all clear to understand and easy to apply. However, the text has many issues, both with its syntactic structures and typos. It definitely needs a thorough revision and a rewriting.

Suggested!
If you know what drives people to do what they do or make the decisions that they make, you will have no trouble getting them to go your way. Most of us work very hard to be accepted and to avoid being left out. If someone trusts you, he or she is much more likely to accede to a request that if they don’t. You can change an existing habit or create a new one very quickly, as long as you understand the science behind the formation of patterns. Thanks for the Author. Overall excellent!

Gave a good overview and introduction to psychological persuasion. Techniques were discussed that can help manipulate human behavior in general. The author discussed business psychology more in depth. My only criticism is that hw should have included other professions and advice on psychology in your live life

Great book for a great price
It helped me focus and learn awareness as well as influence skills, and how to control one's mind.

Persuasion
Really this is all about persuasion that's glammed up in some psuedoscience. Not that there isn't good information to be had here because there is it's just more of learning how to be aware of certain human habits.

I am a sucker but now I know why and how to spot, defend and use the techniques after reading this book
One of two books I bought on the subject of manipulation. The intricacies of mass media advertising and marketing are well explained and, in parts, surprising in the psychology at work. The sections on how to prevent yourself from being controlled by the sophisticated and subtle ploys were very good. I am a sucker for good sales technique and I now am aware of why I am. It is really quite dark when portrayed flatly in this book, and I am forearmed to both use and defend.

A basic...but ok ...
Good..one for beginners, nothing special according to the title, but if u r beginner then, this book will give a clear idea about observation...and presentation in public. Author presented the topic in a clear way..Go for it if you love to read general PSY.Have a good day
