Beeeeeeautiful!!
UPDATE: Bought these in 2015 and still using them 5 years later. Not a single broken one, no chips, scratches, or anything. We wash them in the dishwasher, always. They are the BEST glasses I've ever owned, and what's even more shocking is that I've never gotten tired of them. They are just so cool and beautiful. We use both sizes--I think the bigger one is 12 oz--but use the smaller ones most often. I've never bought any glasses or dishes or anything for my kitchen that I love as much as these. The reviewer that said they are poor quality is just nuts. Don't believe them.Original review: LOVE these. They are thick and heavy (but not too heavy!) and classy looking. The blue wave pattern is different on each glass, making each one unique. The blue is deep and beautiful, and the glasses have a hammered appearance. No seams anywhere. The top ridge is a little wavy, though mine aren't as wavy as the Amazon picture. Just enough to make them really cool. Note that this is a part of the artistic design! Some other reviewer complained about it. I love that wavy top edge. The wide tops make them take up more room on a shelf than a straight glass would, but if you alternate them, upright and upside down, they will line up much more compactly.I got mine from Amazon's warehouse and saved a bundle! I also ordered the 14 oz thru there, and the fact that those survived is a testament to how durable these are. They weren't wrapped individually inside a really tortured box, and were clanking around against each other. None were broken. They are the best quality glassware I've seen anywhere.

These are beautiful tumblers
Bear in mind that these glasses came today, so I can't really tell you how they will stand up over time. I also plan to order a matching set of larger glasses for adults. All 12 of these little beauties came within my 2 day Amazon Prime shipping estimate. They are also all intact, which is amazing, because they were only shipped in the one original box which holds the glasses. Also, someone opened to box to see what was inside and did not replace the tape very well. I can understand if it was done by US customs (since they're made in Italy), but even so they should have picked up a wrapping tape dispenser and re-sealed it. Personally, I am going to ask Amazon to ramp up their packaging - not that theirs is inadequate at all - but because over the past few years I have received a large amount of opened, wet or damp and damaged packages (of all types and not all from Amazon) delivered by FedEx and UPS.This last paragraph does seem to be off topic, but if you decide to order these or any other fragile items from anywhere, pay attention to which company delivered it and complain, complain, complain. I have found Amazon and its vendors to be incredibly gracious about replacing items which had clearly been damaged by one of these companies.I think that even though those of us who received damaged packages and/or items should complain to the shipping company, it will bear more weight if Amazon itself puts some pressure on them about this problem. Just go to your profile page and select open orders. There will be a place on the sidebar menu which will lead you to a page where you can complain about the shipping. Tell them which company did it, too. I'm going to photograph my soup bowls and upload it. Thank you Amazon, for making this type of complaint easy!

Perfect If You Have Teenage Boys
Thanks to a house with two rambunctious boys, and perhaps a little bit to my own gracelessness, we had a dearth of short glasses. So I was looking for something decent looking yet reasonably priced when I came across this set. Neat design, decent price...so I bought a set. I was amazed when they arrived. These things are made from some thick, sturdy glass. These might actually stand up to my boys' abuse. In fact, I may or may not have already accidentally dropped one from a height that would have killed one of my former glasses. Not a scratch on it.The only downside to these glasses is that the quality control is not top notch. The tops of some of the glasses are uneven, some almost wavy. But they still work for getting liquid up to my face and this pales in comparison to the fact that these glasses might just survive the teenage years! So these get a full 5 stars from me.

If you like a glass with character
If you like a glass with character, then you might enjoy these gems. These glasses have some heft to them with a weighted bottom and very thick, wavy walls that vary at the top from about 1/8" to 5/16" thick. If you prefer glasses w/a thin rim, then these are not for you. Kind of a free-form design lends the glasses an irregular wave to the rim and slight irregular side walls which make for a comfortable grip. They're sleek inside, however the exterior of the glass has a slight hammered effect. Each glass takes on its own personality with its own cobalt blue swirl design, no two alike. I like that the glasses are stackable and while they are narrower at the bottom, tipping over doesn't seem to be an issue. The description says these glasses were made in Italy, however the label on each one indicates they were made in Spain.

So little, but pretty
These glasses are much smaller than I thought they would be. The title for the product description says these are 9 oz glasses, and the box they come in says they hold 9.5 oz. Some of the glasses hold 8 ounces, but that's filled to the very top. At least one of the glasses from the same box holds 6 oz. of water. I'm keeping them because they are very pretty and appear sturdy.

:)
Beautiful glasses. They are perfect to go in our new kitchen decor. Somewhat heavier than our previous glassware but durable. One accidentally slipped from my hand and fell in the sink and did not dreak, chip or crack. I like that it was a 12 piece set, so i have extras just in case one should be damaged down the road. The edges are slightly uneven, but I like this as it speaks to the uniqueness of each piece. They can still be stacked. I'm very happy with these glasses.

Sort of cheap looking. Obviously molded, and not hand blown.
They are heavy, and they look nice enough, but they are 100% obviously molded, and not hand blown. They have a cheap looking appearance, unfortunately. I returned them.

Sturdy, rustic, wonky and all around fun.
These glasses are really cool. They are heavier, beefier, more rustic than a regular glass. The rim is just slightly wonky. Love that about them. Recommend them. They’re fun.
