This is such a fun toy. It is a good way to develop your motor skills at any age! I am 31 years old but I still enjoy playing with dear old remote controlled Herbie.It takes skill to manueover him around the room and obstacles that may be lying on the floor. This is why I would say it is a good educational toy for anyone, kids to elders, because that way it gives your brain the chance to develop motor skills or even bring back motor skills that may have been lost through an accident or illness.On the fun side, Herbie is rather cute when his headlights light up when you push the accelerator button on the remote control and his brake lights light up when you reverse him. He is worthy toy to own and can become quite valuable in the future.I would advise anyone who wants to own him, do not drop him! He is made of plastic in parts and we know plastic can crack easily. Myself have never dropped him, but I have had him in my hands and I just get the feeling that he might break after a few drops, even his motors might not work too. Just take good care of him and treat him well like a family member and he will serve to last a long time for you, and remember he could be a heirloom if you look at it in the way that he is a famous icon and that its rare to find a remote controlled volkswagen beetle, especially a Herbie!

I have this very same R/C car. It is worth nowhere near $250. I bought it in-store for $30. Do not waste your money.
