I wished to replace a set of steak knives bought over 30 years ago. The knife is very stylish and has an expensive look to it. It is not too heavy and is very comfortable to hold due to the handle design. It is well balanced perhaps a little larger than I thought it would be but does not look out of place when in a table setting. The blade is partially serrated and cuts efficiency so I am pleased with my choice.

Really good quality knives. Well packaged and the 'smooth blade' is super sharp. Holds well in the hand with the decent grip width. The only 'weak complaint' I have is that they feel 'lightweight' a personal choice, but I like a bit of weight in my cutlery, other than that a fantastic set of quality knives

I’ve been looking for a new chef’s knife to replace my decades old one. A friend recommended this one. I’m very pleased with this knife. The knife comes packaged in a clean, simple, and sturdy all black box with “velvet” lining, perfect for gift giving. Inside box, the knife tip is protected from damage with a plastic cover, and it includes the warranty, which is 25 years with proper care and use, and a soft cleaning cloth. The blade of this knife goes through the handle, which is a good safety and architectural feature. The weight of the knife is just right for me. The grip is smooth and comfortable in my hand and made from a material that is easily cleaned. The curve of blade enables a nice rocking motion for dicing vegetables. And…it’s very sharp for easy slicing (tomato cut as if it were butter). I’m very happy with this purchase.

I couldn't believe how nice this knife is out of the box. Well packaged, hefty in the hand with a very comfortable grip. Fit and finish are excellent. Sharp!!

i've got dozens of knives. This one is a keeper. Somewhere between a small chef knife and a paring knife, this one can carve up an apple, chop a bunch of carrots and hang on my magnetic knife board. The paring knife drops like a rock off the knife board. The chef knife is too big for detail work.Sharp and looks to keep its edge.

Comfortable for smaller hands.
