A Computer With Monitor On A Chip?
Complete with Wi-Fi!? In a traditional IC DIP pin hardware format? That is hard to believe! And based on the Raspberry Pi basic hardware, too! Thanks to these marvels we now got hand-held classic arcade games of all stripes at Walmart. I also saw other items on Amazon which are DIY packages that include components like this module, a 16-button numeric keypad, a breadboard and a few other components such as LEDs, resistors, capacitors and diodes. I can only imagine beyond the USB port if there was a similar module which instead of the built-in full-color display it featured an HDMI port to plug to a TV or monitor.

Does not flash
The design is quite good and interesting. The build is mediocre. But most troubling is that it does not flash. Don't know what people want to use 2 different MCUs at the same time. Putting hidden program (spyware) on one? I bought it just to test my programs on two different platforms using only one tiny little module. Now, the build. Most of the parts seem fine. But the LCD screen is secure on the board with a foam tape. And when I opened the packaging box. the screen was crooked and looked like damaged when pushed into the box during packaging. I was able to re-place it and it looks fine and seems work properly. It was able to boot up fine and connect to both MCUs okay (with blue and green LEDs lit up depending on the cable orientation) BUT BUT ... I cannot flash my own programs. I will keep it if only it flashes. So it will have to go back.

DOA - Wouldn't even show up in device manager
I connected it with multiple USB-C cables and it was never recognized as a device. There was no connection sound from Windows and no port displayed in device manager. Tried rotating USB cord directions. Nothing. Useless.

None of the github examples provided regarding the display works.
None of the github examples provided regarding the display works. Finding a resolution is infuriating. Will definitely not buy another Lilygo product.
