I purchased this last summer and still can't seem to figure out how to use it. No instructional materials. Dissapointed.

My husband works remotely from home, and we got this for his work computer so he could have a wired ethernet connection if needed.It was pretty disappointing. Ultimately it was not compatible with the security features on his computer, so we ended up buying a different hub (that one works great). It also gets extremely hot, which is worrying.We also don't like that it uses a USB-C port to connect to the computer, but does not have a USB-C port itself, so you don't replace the port that this plugs into. This was a problem, as he needed to plug in another device but didn't have the needed port.

does the job well works as expected, this prduct gives more ports to your computer it is a great adapter i suggest buying

Pros:- Superb build quality. Has a very nice heft to it, and feels incredibly solid in hand- Works with my M1 iPad Pro as advertised, I get a clean image over HDMI with this without having to fiddle around with my display settings (which I've had to do with other adapters)- Comes with a nice little carrying bag for thisCons:- No USB-C power pass through on this which feels like it kind of defeats the purpose of a USB-C hub unfortunatelyOverall:I found I really struggled with this USB hub. It honestly is built very well, feels great in hand and works as advertised. That said, I'm not sure why they didn't include a USB-C port for pass through charging, especially when advertising this as an iPad Pro hub. It sort of defeats the purpose of this kind of thing a little bit, as you'll be stuck on battery any time you want to plug this hub into your iPad. If you're primarily looking for a high quality hub and don't need the power pass through, than this will work well enough for you. That said, I'd recommend if you're looking to use this with your iPad, to look for something with a USB-C port included.

What I like about this is the coil which gives a lot of flexibility and angle to my computer hook up. I own one that attaches directly to my computer but it can be annoying to have it attached as it means I cannot put the bottom case cover on my computer. This on the other hand, does not require I remove my hard case cover, therefore I can still keep my computer protected while allowing for USB hook up for the new iphones etc... I find the entries, a little "rough" to get it, the equipment does not slide in easily rather it edges it's way in. I'm always afraid to damage either my wiring or this. The best thing about this, is it's TYPE C hub, so I can plug it into my mac! YEY!!! It also has an ethernet connection which I have not had to use. I am more interested in using the USB ports and being able to connect my phone and other USB charging devices, which it allows me to do.I am always nervous using these items as I feel they alter my system a little and it is always glitchy after, but this one seems to be okay so far.It is also very well made, durable and seems quite expensive in feel. A lot of care was taken into ensuring it was wrapped properly when received. Thank you.
