Better than expected
This is a nice, utilitarian item to have if you're a film/video/vlogger since it provides a variety of outputs. I use it very successfully with my existing batteries to power a microphone receiver I need USB power to operate.

Does work, but could be better
For the purposes of getting power out of sony batteries this works without issues. I have used this to power my cameras for extensive shooting. It's not as sturdy as RRS, but cheaper and lighter for travel. Get good batteries though. One thing I wish it had was a better charge indicator: I wish it had a 5 LED indicator instead of 4. I have some batteries that quit under 30%, causing me to loose footage. To use them, I'd have to stop at 50% because the next level is 25% which is too low. Ironically the RRS one is even worse with only three LEDs. This isn't the fault of the device of course, but could have made it even more usable.Considering how much actual use I got out of this during travel for charging batteries and my phone when away from power, I'm giving it five stars.

Has breathed new life into some of my NP-F batteries.
I've had this for about 4 months now and it's worked like a charm. In fact, like the title mentioned, it's actually been a very practical addition to the kit.The adapter plate is pretty small and doesn't take up much space. I have a bunch of NP-F batteries collected over time, but they've been slowing being replaced by Vmounts. Most of the NP-F's aren't the neewer types that have usb out, or USB-C charging, so they haven't really been convenient to use. This adapter really changed that. I've used this adapter for a variety of small jobs such as extra power for the A7S3, charging the gimbal, keeping a field monitor going, and even just charging the phone and it worked great. This is one of those things that are a great throw in the bag tool that's useful when you need it, and can really make your old batteries have some extra worth. If you don't have a lot of NP-F batteries, I wouldn't exactly suggest buying one of these as their are probably better power solutions you can invest in.

Great for extra power where you need it.
I purchased these primarily to use with some LED light panels to give me a longer battery run-time than the internal batteries had alone. These are great for that. I'm using NP-F 970 batteries in these and they just work.

Can handle 3 outputs simultaneously!
I've tried a few of these npf to various output plates and this one is the only one that can do everything I needed. I was able to power a monitor via dtap, a power hungry nikon z8 via usbc pd AND use the usb A out to power a small audio recorder all simultaneously even when using a smaller npf550!Not only that but unlike some other brands if I'm on a shoot and want to just swap over to ac power I can use a single PD in cord into this plate to power all the outputs, AND I can even remove the battery and it continues powering my devices. Just yeah totally nailed it for me.

Good for quick events
I used this with the first camera rig I ever put together. It kept my camera charged for a 3 hour event after the original batteries died.

Good solution and features…… but
The only downside to this is its plastic enclosure compared to so many on the market with metal housing. I also with the 1/4”-2” was a through hole and not threaded

Simple and Perfect
Has all the connections I needed, and at a great price. Wish it was made of metal, but I don't think I will face any damage from basic use. Worth the money, at a low price.
