EGR makes installation slightly more tedious than one might expect
For what it is, it was high quality and did what it was supposed to do.Bleeder Screw:A must. The stock plastic one is junk. Included bleeder screw also includes o-ring, and threaded in with ease. Did not leak, and held pressure.Spacer:Included longer bolts are the same thread, and same 12mm head. Also threaded with ease, though the factory filter head wants any mounting bolts to be perfectly perpendicular before the threads will catch, making installation slightly more tedious than one might expect, but still simple. No fault of the spacer kit, factory bolts are the same.Glad they notched the bolt holes on the spacer, and did not just drill a hole. The notch made getting this in there easier for sure.Which brings me to the next point. My Duramax LB7 is Cali emissions, and as such has an EGR system. Since many of the solenoids and vaccum lines are mounted essentially on top of the fuel filter head, getting to the bolts was a huge pain. There were three additional bolts I had to undo just to get to these and also have a few degrees of tool rotation. So if you have egr stuff there, plan on the install taking a bit longer than "hey, its only two bolts, it will be quick and easy!"All in all, for such a simple product, it is pretty nice. Moved the filter head father out from under all the egr stuff, and provided for more room to get to the filter.

Cheaper
This product arrived quickly with no damage and the machining appears to be fine. I don't think you could tell this spacer kit apart from the *insert your preferred diesel shop here* brand option in a side by side comparison. The finish is a little rough, but there's no damage to it just a slightly rough surface texture. For a little under half the price of the normal sources for this kind of stuff, I'm very pleased with this part. If bling is your thing, it might be worth a few more dollars for the polished laser etched version, if you just want to make filter changes easier, this is a great kit.

Must have
If your adding the Cat filter to your 6.6, this is a must have in order to create enough space to fit the filter adapter. Most adapters come with this spacer but somehow mine got lost. This works perfectly and the price is right!

Helps when changing filters.
used it on my 2002 Duramax I bought new. Helps relocate the filter to make changing it easier. I also lik ethe bleeder is aluminum not GM plastic..

NOGO-GO
Why didn't I think of this. Getting a filter wrench on my Duramax fuel filter ...impossible. Now with the extra half inch, a breeze. If you own a Duramax, get this spacer!!!! I have a 2002 Silverado and used the shorter screws that came with the spacer.

Much cheaper than "big brands" and works the same!
Used these to install the filter conversion and it worked great! It fit perfectly and I haven't had any issues with it since installing several months ago.

Replacement bleeder screw is worth the cost.
Just received it. The bleeder screw is worth the price to replace the plastic one. I may make a thicker spacer because, hey if 3/8” is good, 1/2” must be better. Besides, longer bolts were included. My rig, 2007 2500HD classic.
