I love it’s slimness, it’s time accuracy, and that it never needs batteries. I’ve owned an older model for more than 20 year and it’s only problem was that the band wore out.

I was looking for a watch to fit in between my black face silver Bulova Marine Star and a white face gold Sperry watch with a brown Top-sider style casual leather band.This watch had to be maleable enough to work with a tuxedo, a variety of suit and sport coats and to look comfortable with short sleeve Polos. It didn't have to be loud like the chronographs with all the dials, but it did have to make a statement while being subtly understated. I have a thin wrist so the face had to be in proportion. I wasn't concerned about a date window because they're too small to see anyway and a sweep second hand is desirable, but not totally necessary. Finally, it had to be a thin watch to fit under my barrel cuffed shirt sleeves - and I didn't want to spend a fortune.With all that in mind, I headed for Macy's. Mass of confusion with all the selections. The Citizen rep happened to be there and extolled the benefits of the Eco Drive (no more batteries). I wasn't so hung up on the Eco Drive but she showed me a recently revived Stiletto-series Eco Drive watch, which is incredibly thin. The is no date window, second hand, numbers on the face or luminous hands - but I kept coming back to this one. While Macy's had a good sale, I found an excellent promotion online with free shipping and figured what the hey.Today I had the watch sized to my wrist and -OH WOW- I think I nailed it! When I put it on the jeweler was very impressed with it. I am expecting compliments on this one. The band ends close together with an internal safety clasp so it looks like a bracelet. Warranty is 5 years +1 additional with online registration. It has a sapphire crystal - the best you can get. This is my first experience with Citizen and while1x year battery replacements never bothered me, it will be nice to have a watch that perpetually charges with any light source. The only negative is that it is difficult to see the hands in dark light, but that is minor compared to all the above features and benefits.Phooey Smart Watches! If your criteria is similar to mine, don't overlook this beautiful watch. You won't see it anywhere else. It also comes in monotone silver, but the two-tone will work with any color jewelry or tux studs.Update after a week of use: After charging in direct sunlight, keeps perfect time. My only gripe is that the hands are so thin that you can't see them in dark light. On the other hand, why would you be looking at your watch in a dark room?

Good looking watch, I've always had a problem with metal bands that have latches as my hand to wrist diameters ratio is large and inevitably a snug band on the wrist results in it being too small to fit get over my hand. This latch opens wide enough so no problems.I've seen some comments about it not working, if stored in the dark for a long time you might have to put it under a light source to charge the lithium capacitor enough for it to run.
