We have a horse who knows how to untie himself from the trailer! Purchased this to prevent him from making an escape and having a panic snap was a must. It works great!

I've had several from horse supply stores, but they were too long. These are just right! Now to get another pair the same length.

Very difficult to get a hold of clip to hook up or release horse. Clip is very strong and will hold the horse, but much to difficult for practical purposes. Have already used, trying to check it out, so will probably end up in the garbage, unable to return?

Stitching came out the first time I used it. Horse got away.

These work great, installed these in a trailer for ties - these work great. Nice length and perfect for quick in and out. These are a great length as they can be shortened down and lengthened where they are not overly long. Strong and work well, the clips don't feel like metal from the 70's however very functional for the price I think these are great straps.

My horses tie well, but you never know what will happen around horses, so panic snaps are important. The straps seem sturdy and durable. I recommend this product.

The ties were not strong because one of our horses broke them in the first week. It would be better to spend extra and get thicker ones that don’t tear as easily.

Very thin nylon, poor stitching, broke first time used it. Not safe for horses to use as trailer ties. Buy brand name, not worth the money.

There are a couple of different theories out there about tying horses when trailering them. I think this depends on the type of trailer, horse, and confidence/skill on the part of the driver. Nevertheless, if a person is inclined to tie horses in the trailer this is a very good quality product. Both the bull and panic snaps are as heavy duty as any I have seen used. They work well. You can also use these as cross ties. This has become more popular in the equestrian world due to good stabilizing properties of the bull snap and versatility of having the panic snap on the horse's halter in case you suddenly need to have them untied. The nylon straps are also good quality and have an adjustable buckle in the center to make the whole length of the tie longer/shorter. You can also unclip these and use them as a separate lead in case of emergency. Whether a person ties their horse in a trailer or not these ties are a very versatile product to have around. I strongly recommend buying this product.

Cross ties are adjustable and have quite a long length which is helpful.The nylon material is a bit thinner than what we have at the barn but not an issue.The clasps are a bit stiff to open especially the ones used to clip onto the halter, it doesn't have a swivel and makes it difficult to use one hand to open it when you are holding onto the horse. This is not because it is a new pair.The hardware overall looks like lower gauge and smaller in size, compared to our existing ones.Attached photos are comparison of some sturdier cross ties.For horse ware I prefer sturdier and higher quality for safety.
