Good! It is overpriced.

This product is ok. I use this as a replacement to Breathe Easy Chest Rub by the Honest Company but they discontinued the product years ago and what’s left on the market has been priced gauged for what is now rancid oil. Badger makes a better substitute, but my son is allergic to the badger brand and it leaves him in a rash. This brand doesn’t give him a rash, but the aroma therapy is no where near as good. This brand I have add eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil to amp it up to be effective. Amazon also sells a breath easy essential oil blend that works fabulously as well to amp this product up. If your little one has a skin allergy to the badger brand chest rub, this brand is a good substitute, but you’ll need to have some essential oils on hand to make it a little stronger.

This herbal salve comes in a 4-oz glass jar that does not have a security seal. However, when I removed the lid, the ointment was smooth at the top surface, and was not disturbed.The ointment is of a light-yellow color, with a thick consistency. It has a mild eucalyptus/peppermint scent as I sniffed the jar.I applied this to my upper lip area and to my chest. I don't feel as much of a cooling sensation as I do with a well-known brand that I usually use.A couple of hours after I've applied the ointment to my chest, if I touch my chest with my fingers, the ointment gets on my fingers and I need to wash my hands with soap and water to remove the ointment. It does not absorb into my skin as well as I would like.I didn't see the full ingredients listed on the product description page. So, here are the ingredients:olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, herbs & essential oils of eucalyptus globulus leaf, mentha piperita (peppermint), rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf, cedrus atlantica (cedarwood) bark, beeswaxExpiration date is on the bottom of the jar. Mine expires 12/31/2024.Overall, while I do like how my chest and nose feels after I've rubbed this ointment, I will go back to using my preferred chest rub brand, which has a strong menthol scent and cooling sensation that makes me feel so good after using it and helps me breathe a lot better.

i was very disapointed in this rub i was expecting this to be menthol or something with a smell that would break up a chest cold. there was no smell or tingle or anything, i wondered if i got an old jar that had no medicinal properties in it. any way it was a worthless salve that did nothing. will not order it again

This all-natural chest rub is filled with great ingredients, all of which I recognize and can pronounce. It gives gentle relief to my sinuses when applied to the eyebrow area and under my nose. Really works nicely. Smells pleasant. Doesn't irritate the skin at all.

We love using natural rubs like this and love the added essential oils. It is not a large jar, but we only use a little at a time. We not only rub this on the chest area, but a little behind the ears and under the nose. You can also do the neck and temples like you would if just using an essential oil blend. It smells great and really does seem like it helps a little when not feeling well.
