I'm almost 50 yrs old with medium to thick hair down to my butt. Finding quality hair clips that actually keep all of my hair up for longer than 30 minutes is mission impossible. Honestly when I bought these they were on sale and I wasn't expecting much. I just hoped I'd at least be able to pull up the sides of my hair. Welp these things are AMAZING! I have wore a couple of them several times. For instance I have all of my hair wrapped up in one clip, like a ponytail. It's after 6 in the evening and I did my hair this morning. No hair spray, mousse or gel. I have been cleaning, helping my fiance put a kitchen faucet in, chasing after my grandson, walking my dogs, cooking, and so on and this clip has not budged! I was concerned they'd be uncomfortable or feel heavy since they're metal but they are not at all. They're like a miracle clip lol. They hold firmly but I don't even feel it in my hair. I will definitely be buying more.

These work pretty well for my long, thick hair and are actually metal. I don't feel like my hair is going to slip out of them as easily as the plastic ones I've had before.

These are so much sturdier than the cheap plastic clips and so much better for thicker hair.
