Crimping tool
Works well and easy to use.

Awesome for coax connectors.
Awesome crimper set. I use these to crimp coax connectors and wire connectors. Works very well. Easy to chance out the dies for different sizes. The threads haven't wore out from changing so much. But you have to be careful when re installing the screw to not cross thread and make sure everything is lined up right.

tool is good, instructions were missing
The crimper and dies are good but mine did not include the all important chart that indicates which die to use for the coax you are crimping. Without that chart the tool is pretty much worthless. I was able to find the tool again and do a screen shot of the chart they show in the ad and print it out. Had the chart been included, I would have given it 5 stars.

Good Crimping done easily.
For the RG-8 project it worked well. Great crimping. The only thing was make sure you print the photos on Amazon which shows which DIE does what even though there are a few omissions like the die they install for shipping was good for RG-8 but did not list it. Look at the measurements on the picture it is pretty self-explanatory.

Durable Crimper for limited use
Dealer is very responsive and willing to work with the seller. Easy to use, BUT no information on the crimper jaws. They do no give the size of each crimping position. Also no manual with the purchase.

The devil is in the details
I bought this tool twice as a friend walked off with my first one. Worked well with LMR-240/RG-8X, but today when I went to swap out the die for LMR-400 I ran into two problems. First was there was no hex wrench to remove the die screws. They are metric, so I had to go buy a metric key set. Next was getting off the screws - they are indeed soft, but with the right hex key they came out. When I went to crimp the LMR-400, it was apparent this was a bad tool. The crimp was floppy and loose. I went to a friend's house and he crimped it again with his tool, and voila, it was fine. I went back to the item in Amazon and found the problem. The "LMR-400" die is listed as being 11.00 mm. LMR-400 is 10.9mm (0.429"). A tenth of a mm might seem within tolerance but it's definitely not.

Don't buy there to crimp lmr 400 coax
Bought these to crimp on conectors on lmr 400 coax. Wouldn't work for that would not crimp connectors tight enough. As for crimpers thet apear to be of good quality and will probably work for other things just not lmr 400
