When I first bought this type it was the APIE brand, I think 5-6yrs ago. Idk what happened but Darkblue owns it now. The Darkblue is a solid BT speaker as well. I love the clip, I've replaced mine for a metal one since purchase. Sound isn't great for very large spaces but something like volleyball spaces should work. Its definitely water resistant as shown in video reviews. Battery last reasonably long. For me at work maybe 2-3 days for 6-8hr shifts in a quiet space. Haven't had any connection issues either. Price was far less at purchase however I still have my Darkblue and original Apie.

This thing can take a beating. I have bought each of my 4 children the APIE speakers which is the older generation of this speaker and they used them consistently. The speaker is so powerful that you could put on anything with a great deal of bass and it could bump itself right off the table. It's compact, never had any water issues with it, and a good looking speaker. Especially the newest DARKBLUE.The only con I have for this speaker is realistically not fair. Don't put it at full volume and expect it not to blow the speaker with heavy tunes.Otherwise, this is the 6th speaker I've bought from them and I'm only replacing this one for my husband because someone used it and put her at full volume. You know how you can always remember how many times you've had to charge something cuz it went dead on you... AGAIN? Well, that's not something I've really had to think about. A definite worth your money, high quality little machine. This is a long coming review. We bought our first one YEARS ago.

Awesome sound easy to sync a hood buy

It's the same box as my APIE that I bought 3 years ago. I keep it outside all the time underneath my covered patio. I use it all the time. The battery life on a charge is exceptional. The sound quality is great. I don't need it to blow my neighbor's doors off. I highly recommend this product.

This is my second purchase of same item. The first was purchased in late 2017 as an "APIE" brand name. That unit is green and orange and it's still alive and kicking, but sometimes gets scratchy when at full blast, so that's why I bought this version. The old APIE has paint all over it and has been dropped in the water several times while kayaking & it's still good. This new "DarkBlue" is the exact same speaker. Both speakers blow away the Sony JBL's I have as well. For the money these are a steal. Crisp and loud, waterproof and you can clip them to anything.

This DarkBlue Bluetooth speaker is AWESOME! I had another one that I had to replace more than 4 times, very happy with this one. Not as heavy as most of the 2 speaker Bluetooth, plus water proof, loud quality sound? I am telling you I have been down thru there trying to find the perfect one for me, work, out side, & parties. And another PLUS is the quality stereo sound radio it has! You must try this one if you haven't found the right one yet. I will be taking this one with me to the park while training my Bully. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one so much I got it insured to be sure I will always have this awesome sound...

I bought this because it has FM radio and I wanted to use it at lakes I have no cellular reception to stream music. The FM receiver is awful. We live in a city of 150,000 people and it picks up one station that is clear enough to listen to. I think the audio is actually pretty good, but when a feature as old as FM radio doesn't work I can't give it more than 1 star. I will be returning it.edit: I originally gave this one star, but I figured out how to get the radio to search. If I only could get it to stop where I want it to stop.

I ordered this product from my phone and was not able to see the full description. I thought this item was larger. When I received it, I was somewhat surprised it was smaller. I have since learned, that it is one of the best sounding speakers in its size category ! The base is fairly strong (again for its compact size) and the highs are great. The waterproofing is great and I love the FM radio. Its hard to find your station, but once you do, it stays set when you turn it on. Overall, this is a very handy, and high quality product that easily slips into your pocket. I love it!
