Dose ot help you lose weight?

I use the Slim Fast Smoothie Mix. The difference was 10 additional calories. But with Silk Soy Milk at 80 calories, it equals out. Anyway, if you like Chocolate and Banana or Vanilla and Banana, You will love this! Well at least I do. Sometimes I add a banana, if I have one, Oh, I do add ice, if I want to jazz it up a bit! But does this make a difference if I am trying to take off 25 pounds? My current weight is 161pds and I am 5.5. I know it doesn't sound much to some, but to me, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. And yes I am seeing a Therapist to deal with my self image issues.

Can I mix this with water?

I been using this for years and I add a banana with ice and NO milk. Sometimes I add 95% dark chocolate which is proven to be healthy. I run it in the blender and it comes out thick and tastes good. It's all preference. Add fruit to give it a good mix of taste and consistency if you prefer.

i normally substitute a slimfast or tru-protein shake for a meal, i usually have 1 scoop with 8oz skim milk and a cup of ice,along with a fruit like a banana put in the blender. I also use a 1/4 to 1/2 tspoon of tumeric power because its good for everything that ails you. look it up,, and a teaspoon of metacucil for fiber, drink it down and your on the way, after a while you loose craving for food and always kinda not too hungry, then i have a sensible meal and look forward to tomorrow,, good luck.

Has anyone used a shaker bottle or do you have to use a blender?

I have used a blender, a shaker, and even a milkshake blender. While the both blenders do end up with a slightly more creamy and airy end result, the shaker is plenty good. Really unless you are wanting to add ice or frozen fruit why dirty the blender AND a glass when you can just use a shaker.

Awful

I have just started using the third one so i can't comment on it's effectiveness but this one is way too sweet compared to the last two.I ended up making myself a meal coz i couldn't bring myself to drink it all

Seal broken / Food contaminated

The seal had multiple needle piercing. Suspect food contamination and do not feel safe for consumption ! There's no return policy so technically my money is wasted !

Not effective

This meal replacement isn’t good. It causes frequent trips to the bathroom, which can make a person feel weaker. I’m sure the manufacturer didn’t consider this effect. We’re your loving family, and we’re concerned for you.

This is a great tasting go-to meal replacement for a variety of reasons. Not just a weight loss beverage, but an extra quick way to supplement a healthy diet. I have used Slimfast on/off for 30+ years. There are times that I am super busy, stressed, not eating right. Slimfast gets me through the day. For me, adding a banana, frozen berries and sometimes, plain yogurt keeps me full and focused. Also curbs unhealthy snacking and fast food cravings.

I love the original slimfast over the advance formula. I original taste so much better for those who dont like that artificial sweet flavor. I get the vanilla because I mix fruit in or mix it with juiced fruit or water or milk (nondairy) and it tastes great. Vanilla is just more versatile. It mixes easy. The subscription price you cant beat and I plan to be using it long term so it works for me. I dont really have anything negative about it honestly.

This product does work when taken as suggested on the container. This is a meal replacement and when used properly it will help you lose weight and/or maintain. Good tasting and good value for money. Like any diet supplement you do need to eat a well balanced diet and make sure to discuss with your doctor before taking for best results.
