Larger than I expected but that certainly wasn't a deal breaker. Each of the grinders takes 6 AAA batteries (total of 12 for both). Grinders worked fine at first. Within 48 hours one of them stopped working. Returning. Had it remained working I probably wouldn't have returned but I certainly was not as impressed with them given all the positive reviews. The motor on the units seems particularly finnicky (i.e. if you have larger pepper corns or larger salt chips- they will likely get stuck). They by no means look fancy either. They look like plastic toys.

These are great grinders. We've had many sets of electric grinders, and these are my favorite so far. For one, having the grinder on the top saves the problem of getting salt and pepper all over your table when you set them down. I've had the grinders where the salt and pepper come out on the bottom (with the press-down button on the top), and I ended up cleaning the table after almost every use. Sure, they had a little plastic cap to place the grinders in, but salt and pepper still managed to get on the table. These grinders, however, keep the mess at the top and never on the table. Plus, the blue LED lighting is just cool! A good amount of salt/pepper is released and the fine/course adjustment works well. Five stars!

These salt and pepper grinders look fabulous on my kitchen counter. It lets me have freshly grinded pepper at all times. I like the gravity feature and you have a choice on how much comes out of tge grinder. It has a big canister, so it hold alot of salt and pepper. the only reason i gave 4 stars is because it requires 6 aaa batteries. But other than that, this product is amazing!

This salt and peper set is just what I needed for my kitchen. I have been wanting a good set to cook with and also stylish. The bamboo stand that comes with the set is perfect and keeps the grinders in place. Great set that I would recommend to everyone. I’ve been using this set everyday when I cook and it’s just made adding flavor to my dishes that much better.

I love this Salt and Pepper Grinder, I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! for my Himalaya Salt and Black Pepper I simply love it and my mom saw mines that I had to buy a pair for her haha I like the size and I can clean it easely after cooking if I dont have my hands clean at the moment I use it. I like the lights!

Upon opening the package I could hear a rattle as I removed the grinder from the box. Inside the one of the grinders where you put the spice was a circlip. This circlip hold the mechanism together and makes it useless without it.

Nice set, but one of mine had the silver ring slip when I tried to put the batteries in (you have to twist the ring to get to the battery compartment). Had to use a little super glue to be sure it stays in place. Given this, not sure about how long these will last under normal usage.

The salt and pepper grinders worked great when they were working. The one I used for Himalayan sea salt broke first within the first year. Now the pepper grinder has stopped working. Took them apart, cleaned them, new batteries, tried softer peppercorns, but they still did not work. They were not even used on a daily basis. Of course the warranty expired just before they broke.
