I bought this book for myself and I love it, every detail of it is fantastic, I love the illustrations but also the information that provides. For sure I am going to read it with my little son when he gets old enough. It worth it.

This book is the loveliest addition to my personal library in ages! The illustrations are stunning, the texts are informative in a clear and pleasant way. It’s geared toward young readers but I think it’s wonderful and inspiring for all ages. I wish I had this book when my children were young however I am enjoying myself tremendously and will keep on using it all year round. Thank you Fiona and Jessica!

Libro per ragazzi. Viene suggerito sempre di farsi aiutare degli adulti per fare qualsiasi operazione. Spiegazioni ampie ma che restano li. Non entra a fondo di nulla. Glossario per spiegare parole "difficili". Bello esteticamente.

I had been looking for a seasonal / wheel of the year book that had illustrations to use with my daughter as part of our seasonal table and activities. This is PERFECT! I didn’t know it was for children from its description but I’m so glad a read some reviews and people pointed out it’s great for kids.Don’t get me wrong though, it’s a stunning book and I am enjoying it just as much as my child. It has things like ‘make sure to have adult supervision’ with things that involve boiling water using sharp objects etc. and is written in an easy to understand manner.I’d say perfect for 10+ years old.My daughter is only 3 but we have a seasonal table where we have a focus on the natural world and what’s happening locally at the given time of year. This is a great book to keep there and we can look at the pictures and talk about the festivals and get involved with the craft ideas and nature activities.She is a little young for in-depth discussions about the festivals but it’s a lovely jumping off point for an into to the stories and a book we can use year after year for years to come.One that will grow with my daughter. 100% happy with this book!
