Just buy it
Ideal for PRS and NRL22. Best image clarity of any scope I've looked through. The reticle is exceptionally clear and can be illuminated at several brightness levels. Tons of vertical travel, easy to read elevation turn count indicator, and an easy to set zero stop so that you can dial back to zero without counting clicks or turns. Adjustable eye relief. The only fault I can find is that you can't zero the parallax to a known distance, because the parallax knob serves as the illumination control and holds the batteries. To my eyes the focus is 10 yards off. Not an issue. You probably won't use full magnification every day, but it sure is handy when you need it.

great deal
This is my second NightForce scope. Nightforce makes an absolutely amazing product. None Better! The optics are amazing, the lighted reticle is great for early morning or late evening shots, and the Zero Stop feature is an engineering masterpiece.

Top notch Quality
This is a top Tier scope. Better than all others with the exception of a Zero Compromise, Kahles or a Tangent Theta, and on par with those. The mil xt reticle is a great go between reticle from a Mil C to a Horus 59 or Tremor 3. Not too much clutter and just enough to not have to dial a firing solution. The reason the Nightforce optics cost more is because of the stringent quality check standards built in when they build the scopes, and the first pick of the best glass available. Nightforce scopes rarely fail and lead the industry in tracking. Other companies rather than QC their rifle scopes to the extent Nightforce does simply rely on their warranty (which Nightforce has too)...looking at you Vortex. Anyways compared to this Razor the glass is close but the picture is much brighter and more crisp. Best scope I have ever owned. The End.

The scope sent was not new
The scope was repacked in its original box but was not adequately secured and loose during shipping. The scope shader has dirt marks, the scope itself has grass and dirt on it, and the KF knob has black marks, which is why I believe the scope is used. I didn't pay over 3k for a used scope.

Good quality, poor value
I gave this 3 stars mainly because I do not think it is worth the price. If it was a $2k or so scope, maybe a different story. Most of my gripes are personal preference, but again I don’t think this scope is worth $3,600, especially since it’s made in Japan. After comparing it to many other similar optics, I concluded the glass is not any better than some other, cheaper scopes. The parallax adjustment is extremely fine and picky, meaning you have to mess with it a lot to get it perfect. If there is heavy mirage, good luck. Also the fact that the parallax markings are in meters was an issue for me (maybe not for you). The eyebox is quite small and also pretty finicky. Lastly, the Mil-XT reticle is nice but I think it’s a little too think, even down at 15-18 power. Now the build quality of this scope is top notch. The turrets are amazing and I like the way you adjust the magnification & locking ocular. I primarily compared this scope to a Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x and feel the Razor has it beat in most areas for significantly less money. There’s no question Nightforce makes top notch scopes, I just feel there is a lack of value here compared to other options out there.
