Looks and functions great!
I researched several of these before buying this USB port and I'm quite happy with the final result. Reviews on other brands included the color not matching well, the need to modify the hole in some way to make them fit and the blue LED light being a nuisance at night. I had none of those issues. This one fit perfectly in my 2005 4Runner (2003-2009 are all basically the same) with no modifications at all, and the color tint, although not an absolute perfect match, looks very close, even better than the photo makes it appear. The difference is unnoticeable. The blue internal LED light when powered on is hidden by the rubber cap when not in use. To wire it up, there is a 10mm bolt in the console for a suitable ground, and I ran a wire to the fuse panel (left side under dash) with a Littelfuse brand, Mini Add a Circuit Holder from an auto parts store (other makes call their fuse taps something different, but they do the same thing). I used a micro 5 AMP fuse in mine. My panel has several unused fuse slots (it's an SR5 model), so I made a dedicated circuit as it wasn't necessary to piggy-back fuses. Some of the empty slots are always hot, others only with ignition, take your pick. If you've never taken the console apart, I recommend viewing one of the YouTube videos. It snaps apart, incredibly easy.A Sharpie extra-fine point paint marker (Walmart arts & crafts section) will fill in the etched in letters and symbol for an OEM look. Just wipe over surface when nearly dry to clean it up.

Not for Toyota
Doesn't fit Toyota switch blanks--leaves gaps and doesn't click into place. Needed to clue it.

Works
This outlet is nice. A tight fit into a 2010 Corolla, but clips in. Installed into the center dash in front of the gear shift, works great there.Charges phones/tablet very quickly. I tied mine into an aftermarket fuse box that I installed by running a dedicated line through the firewall to it ("it" meaning fuse box) from the battery. Look up "Qiilu 6Way Fuse Box" on Amazon for this product to make installs like this easier. The charger port is put together nicely, and seems fairly solid. I would buy it again...

Some modifications required on FJ Cruiser
I purchased the Toyota Vigo version that, according to the product listing, is compatible with FJ Cruiser. Number 1 thing you need to know - it doesn't sit flush in the knockout opening (see my photos). The product listing doesn't have any installed photos, so it was a bit unexpected to me. But I'm okay with it because it doesn't look terrible, and I don't look behind my steering wheel very often. Number 2 - it doesn't fit in the knockout to the left of the steering wheel in a FJ. I don't know if the knockout is different there than elsewhere in the truck, but this USB port couldn't fit into the space fully. I had to use a Dremel to trim the tabs on the USB port to get it to fit (I attached a photo to show what I did). Even so, it does not "click" into place like an OEM switch would. It is however quite secure being pushed into the knockout space. I've been using it this past weekend, I had not accidentally pull it out yet. Lastly - the USB port is a two-piece assembly - the main body containing the electrical components and a plastic "façade" with a rubber cover flap that faces outward. The facade wobbles a bit. I was concerned it'd make a noise when the vehicle vibrates, so I injected two dabs of glue in the space between the facade and the main part of the port. By the way, there is a blue backlighting glowing from inside the USB port that can be covered by the rubber flap.

Installed this in the blank slot just over the fuse compartment 05 4runner
This is an OEM like product that fits perfectly in the blank accessory spot on the dash board above the internal fuse box or in the console behind the shifter. No modifications were required in my 2005 limited 4runner. Thankfully I had 1 blank spot on the dash board which was conveniently located a few inches above the fuse box. I fastened the negative wire (black) to a metal part of the dashboard and connected the positive wire (red) to an 'add a circuit' small fuse. Plug the 'add a circuit' fuse to one of the empty slots in the fuse box. The USB outlets have a blue light that comes on when powered up. Mine is connected so that it powers on with ignition.

Fit perfectly, no annoying lights and could not have been easier
This fit the knock out plug for a 4th gen 4Runner perfectly and the color is close enough for me. With the rubber cover in place there are no lights visible. Which is exactly what I wanted. For installation, I just crimped on connector prongs from Pep Boys and plugged those directly into the existing plug next to the 12v plug. That unused harness is for the second 12v cigarette lighter style outlet in vehicles with a smokers kit. So the wires are sized and fused correctly for type use from the factory. Empty white adapter behind cigarette lighter style out lest is where the unused harness is located. Correct size prongs crimped on and plugged into factory harness.

Good
It doesn’t fit in Toyota Highlander 2012 dash space. It is smaller than the original switch.
