Q: I was wondering if I could have the two front bars removed? Can the main plug be plugged in to a power strip, as opposed to directly in to the wall?

I suppose you could plug this into a power strip, but the cord itself is rather long so you might not have to. As for removing the bars.... If you do, there will be nothing holding it together.
