Works great but is difficult to setup
I thought for sure I was handy enough to do this after reading the reviews of how difficult it is to setup. Well it’s difficult. Watch the videos. Learn how to work the rope tensioners. Do NOT even attempt to do at night with headlamps. You will need two people. I would suggest getting more substantial stakes. Once up this thing was great. Survived high winds on a desert with my tent under it. It’s light and packs well too.

This is a very well made and easy to assemble tent. Great accessory for camping.

Easy
The ATTONER 12X14FT Tarp with 2 Poles will never look as good as the pictures, but that's understandable. You need firm anchors for the ends to get the top taunt. There will always be a dip in the top and there is nothing you can do to prevent it.Once you have the guy lines properly adjusted the tarp will work well.

Worst purchase ever!
I dislike writing bad reviews, but this piece is definitely a waste of money. It didn’t hold upright appropriately nor did it withstand the winds. It was frustrating to put together and not very useful. I almost got into an argument with my husband trying to put it up. And after 3 attempts of trying different ways, we gave up! Not worth an argument or fight over an item that’s defective.

It's good to sit under the shade . I wouldn't say that its very durable material.
After setting this up the wind was blowing kind of hard and it almost flew away so I wouldnt suggest to use on very windy days or if you do make sure you have some very good dirt sticks to hold it down.

Lifelong Tent Campers Review...
Excellent sun shade - rainfly - tarp.Lifelong Tent Campers Review...In my HONEST OPINION the VERY FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO is to buy 10" stakes because the stakes that come with the tarp are insufficient especially in windy conditions. The color is perfect blue and grey matches our tent. The material it is made from is thicker than most others and the attached guidline tie outs are strong and sewn well.Tarp poles have interlocking bungie cord for easy setup and take down. With the bungie cording inside the poles you'll never lose a piece.Guidlines are average rope found on most tcamping tarp and tents they do hold up to the wind.It is advertised as waterproof... I can't give an opinion here because I sprayed it with tent silicone waterproofing before I used it. I do this to every new tarp and tent before using them for the first time. I retreat once a year to guarantee water resistance.Multiple different ways to set it up.Washes up with the hose and if need be a light soapy water and broom gets any stubborn stains out. Always brush leafe little off especially in the rain became it will stain and can be permanent if not washed up.12' x 14' covers enough area for a camp table and 4 chairs, 6 chairs set in a row without a table.Pat attention to how it is folded the first time you set it up this will help you to fold and pack back into the carry bag without frustration.Setup...Lay tarp out flat.Stretch guidlines out.Stake the guidlines leaving room to raise poles.Tighten guidlines taunt after the tarp is raised.Enjoy the shad and stay dry in a light rain.If it gets windy make sure you are staked out well. Drop one side windward to add stability and block most of the wind.Remember that guidlines and stakes have the most strength when placed at a 60* angle towards the tarp. Never stake it straight down or pointing away from the tarp.To be able to set it up quickly and correctly put it up at home, experiment with the different ways you can set it up so when you do use it camping setup is quick and easy.I definitely recommend this tarp especially for the price. With all the camping gear I have used over the course of my life (learned to walk at a fishing camp) I believe this is a tarp with many different uses and will last aong as you take care of it.As an Amazon Vine Member I always give an honest review whether or not it is good or bad. I consider reviews on Amazon to be a vital factor in making purchase decisions and hopefully my review is helpful.Thank you ATTONER for providing your 12'X14' tarp for testing and review. If I may suggest changing the stakes to 10" would be the best oand only improvement needed.

Light and good, but not perfect for me.
Pluses: The material and workmanship are very good. It is strong, yet very light. Weighed just over 5 pounds on our kitchen scale. The sales page says it takes just minutes to assemble. Well, it took me with the help of my wife 25 minutes to put it up. It came with no written instructions. I watched the video on the Amazon page twice and slowed it down as it showed the assembly. That helped a bit. They really should have a downloadable instruction page on the web. Of course, next time, I should be able to erect it in half the time. One thing I learned is the cords near the poles go through the black knit loops, not the gromits. The gromit is needed for the point of the tent pole. I do like the fact that the poles have internal cords so they come together quickly. There is a separate little bag for the stakes. This camping tarp might be ideal for someone at large camp site as a secondary shelter, car cover or a temporary storage area next to a sleeping tent or cabin. A camper would need a lot of space in a windless area to set this up. There is not a lot of headspace inside apart from the very center where it is about 7 feet tallPersonally, I had imagined a use for this tarp, but never used it as expected. I was participating in an outdoor art sale and thought this would protect my artwork from the weather. When I got to the park there was a tent already prepared for me, so I did not need to set up this tarp. It likely would not have worked well as it is too low and there are cords in every direction. Someone might have tripped over the cords. If I ever do use it this way I will need plenty of yellow ribbon to tie on the cords for safety's sake.
