Make sure the actual portion / plate of what you are to screw into the peice of furniture, fits.
I bough these for my low boy entertainment center just to give it off of the ground, and while they are modern and minimalist looking, the plate that screws into the wood was too big. That was my fault for not paying attention to the size of the plate itself. Otherwise, they are pretty sturdy and would have added a modern twist to my entertainment center.
