Very Impressed
All the features you want at a great price. Autoshut off works well. Noise level much lower than the external power supply types. I had to tighten the pressure fitting in the unit. No big deal. Only caution is to make certain fully remove the pressure relief thumb screw after each use to allow moisture that builds up inside the unit to drain out. I tilt it a bit for that. Have run it many times over the past two months on ayrguns that run from 60cc to 200cc storage capacity.

Limited run time, perhaps only useful for smaller fills
I bought this to fill a 400cc air cylinder. I shoot about 3 times a week for a total of maybe 40 shots a week, and when the pressure falls from 330 Bar to about 150 bar, I do a refill. I also live in a very hot environment. One year and 3 weeks from purchase (3 weeks from warranty), the pump failed. (I have checked for leaks at the metal pipe connections and there are none.) It would only pump up to 114 bar and no higher. I have read other stories about this or similar compressors overheating and burning seals and I think this is the case of what happened. Some recommended letting it run for no more than 5 minutes at a time, but to me, it has to be fire and forget. I am not interested in dealing with a short duty cycle.Another issue with this compressor is that it is not easily serviced and parts do not seem to be easily available, though with some research maybe I could find someone that sells a kit, but I am not interested in having to rebuild the compressor once a year. I did take it down to see if it was feasible, but when I did, I came away unimpressed size of the actual piston unit, and this is when I realized it probably was not adequate for filling any kind of tank. Many of the compressors in this class appear to use more or less the same compressor system, and I think that this compressor may be satisfactory for an air rifle with a smaller reservoir, but if you have a bottle, based on my own experience and that of others in other social media postings, this style compressor (there are about a dozen that look to be more or less the same just sold with slight differences and I just have a belief that unless you live somewhere cold were it won't overheat, or typically do short fills, you may be better off going to a better compressor design.I replaced this with a much more expensive GX CS3-i. This is far more robust compressor design that uses a much larger pump and a far more robust crankshaft design. The GX CS2 uses the same compressor as the CS3 and differs mostly in not having automatic shutoff, but this compressor makes it very easy to replace the seals and rings on the piston should that be required.Bottom line, based on my own experience and from research I have done when mine failed, this style of compressor seems to be best applied to filling smaller reservoirs and not bottles. If you fill bottles with any regularity (I filled maybe 10 400cc bottles from 150 bar to 230 bar before mine failed) my advice is to buy the CS3 or a similar larger piston unit.

Best Low Cost Portable PCP Compressor that is feature rich
The media could not be loaded. The Orcair 4500psi Air Compressor has exceeded my expectations. Let me explain why I have decided to use this as my primary compressor to fill my PCP Rifles.First off, a lot of lower end PCP Compressors require use of a water-cooling system. While this sounds great, it really makes those best suited for non-portable non field use fills. This compressor weighs slightly over 16lbs. Not too heavy to carry to the range or field and is very compact in design. Another design aspect I like is that is has a built-in power supply. Not all manufactures have this feature, and several have an independent power supply that you must tether to the compressor. That is just another item you would be forced to carry around with you and is not practical for field use. This Orcair model has the built in power supply while still making for a compact overall size. One other design aspect is that this Orcair model has a digital LCD smart computer of sorts. Most compressors use an analog gauge with analog shut off pressure regulation. The Orcair allows for digital pressure and compressor temperature readouts. It offers the user to select between psi and bar for pressure and Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature.Orcair also has built in smart technology in this compressor. It will not start up is it is under a pressure load. If it senses pressure, it will not start up and prevents damage to your compressor. In addition, if you are working of battery power, it has a sensor that will shut your unit off anytime battery voltage drops below 10 volts. This is a safety mechanism to prevent battery damage. Just an added touch found in this Orcair model. So how does it perform? I was able to fill a 350cc tank from 0psi to 250bar in 12minutes and 20 seconds. I never run my tank below 1000psi in normal settings so this fill time would be even shorter in duration. The overall DB is around 86bd so its not too loud although it is not dead silent. High pressure compressors normally are much louder, so I was incredibly happy with this. This unit also features the user to select 100v A/C or 12v DC. If you want to use it in, you home or shop simply plug it in. If you decide you want to carry it to the range or in the field if you have access to a 12v battery you will be set. I have been testing this with a high amp lithium battery that is about the size of a motorcycle battery, and it had worked well. That makes it easy to carry in the field for emergency PC top offs.I cannot really think of anything I do not like about this unit. It seems so far to tick off all the check marks. I would suggest this unit to anyone that is looking for a unit they can use at home or in the field. I rarely give something 5 stars however this unit thus far deserves a 5-star rating.
