Had a big problem with these , I’ve used them before on 2 jobs without a problem, ok 1 failed about 6 months in but I can deal with that .. my biggest problem was 1 melted over night luckily in an unoccupied property. I lost all confidence in these and asked for a full refund on 18 lights they refused point blank after a lot of legal threats I was sent my money back . I had proof in photos so I wouldn’t lose , but the ignorance towards these clear photos was that we will send you 50% of the cost of 1 light .. so it’s hard to say if it was an isolated case but I won’t buy anymore as an electrician.

I am in the process of decorating the hall and we had decided that the light fittings required changing. The old ones are inefficient GU10's complete with a transformer on each light! So the only work involved for me is to change them over, the holes and circuit are already there.The light is much better for the eyes, much cheaper to run, last longer and of course better for the planet because of it.These Alusso LED lamps have three settings; Cold white, Warm white and a somewhere in-between shade, easily changed with the green switch on the side of the lamps. Even after the lamp is fitted changing the tone is not a problem since Alusso have thoughtfully orientated the switch so that the lugs are fitted North/South and the switch on the East/West face making the switch accessible by tilting the light when its in the ceiling.This six in a pack is exactly my requirement, I must have a guardian angle working at Amazon!Five StarsJC

I have the larger version of these lights so I know what they can do.They look really stylish and the light they produce is bright without being too overpowering. The brightness and style of lighting can be changed via a switch on the light itself, with warm white being my personal favourite so that's what I've gone with.With a lifespan of 30,000 hours, they should last me a good few years.At £26.18, which was the cost at time of writing for a pack of 6, they're good value. 5 stars.
