One of the 12" X 12" leather pieces has a large 4" scar across the middle of it, making it only useful for small items. NOT for a larger item for which it was intended. Some one looked at the leather, packaged it and thought that it was good enough for a customer and good enough to represent their business. Well, it does just that. I used this to make a leather Facehugger mask...if you're not familiar...this is the infamous Alien Facehugger from the Alien series of films...The bourbon Brown color was perfect for my version of the Facehugger...I used this, 12x24, and another I purchased from Amazon as well. Also 12x24...

The video feature is not allowing me to post a picture.The leather appeared to be high quality, with beautiful color, until I unrolled it!Over half of this piece is marred with some deep scratches and scrape marks, making it unsuitable for it's intended use, which was a book cover.I am VERY dissapointed in this product, it was a complete waste of money.My suggestion is...Do NOT buy these leather pieces from this seller!

This piece of hide of 12" X 24" has fold wear, sooo many scratches, abrasions, and a gouges on it that it is completely unusable.I wanted to use it to make a bag for a pattern I've already drawn out.This is not natural wear, and tear of animal life.
