Nice Knife and Made In Finland!
I wondered if the quality would be there as my first Rapala purchased in the '70's. I was pleasantly surprised to see this one was also made in Finland and not China. Arrived in good condition and packaged well. Knife looks great with a 6 inch blade. The blade has a dark coating which Rapala states that it assist in better filleting which I hope to find out is true soon. The sheath is good with what seems like a plastic insert inside that should help it last for the long haul. The snap closure was a little tight but worked it with mink oil and works much better. It should get better with age I am sure. This is quite a bargain IMHO under $10 and with Prime the shipping is free! I did not know if I would really like the laminated handle but coupled with the dark coated stainless steel blade it is very attractive for those who wish to be the best dressed out there on the water....lolHey....for ten bucks you can not go wrong. I am going to buy a few more for gifts and of course one for the kitchen. As for the gentleman who stated the blade was too flexible all I can say is try to skin a fish with this blade and a stiff blade and see which one wastes meat.Got to go now and order some more before you try to buy the last ones :)

Thanks Rapala!
Just received my fillet knife. Haven't had a chance to use it, but came in excellent condition and razor sharp. Love the way it feels in my hands and visually it's a great looking knife. Can't wait to use it!

Seems good; haven't used yet
Jury's out. Wish I was fishing instead of shoveling snow. Seems plenty sharp and well made. Needs some fish guts on it to be sure though. Roll on Spring!

For the price this is a really good knife. Holds an edge and quality seems good. I would buy it again.

Flimsy
Blade not stiff enough, (I used it on panfish) just wasn't stiff enough.

Best I've ever used period.
Best fillet knife I've ever used. Looks good to I have some older rapala and leech lake knife's but they don't even compare.

Flimsy.
I've used Rapala knives for many years and the biggest thing I didn't like about this one is TOO MUCH give in the blade. My preference its a fairly stiff blade and this one definitely is not!
