Will not stay on
It has a buckle clip in the back that will not stay together. As soon as I clip it on my sons head the buckles fly apart. You can clip it while not in use and it will stay but once is has the slightest bit of resistance it flies off. I returned it.

Easily comes off clips
I liked the idea of it. Seemed to work, then it got wet and slipped off the clips. Put it back together 4-5 times in 10 minutes trying to wash my sons hair. Just kept coming off. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Was really excited to receive it, and then real disappointed with it. Going to give it another chance and see if there’sa way to get the straps to stay on the clips.

Cute Idea, but needs different inside head band.
At first sight, I thought, what an adorable idea as shampoo in the eyes of my tiny one does happen at times? And as she loves a good crown (I know, lol), a great combo! The concept is good, but I had issues with the inside portion of the band, as it became entangled with the tiny one's hair and was somewhat tricky to remove.Perhaps a different type of plastic (maybe silicone? Just a personal guess) that is slippery in removal would provide a great deal of comfort & make removal of any hair that inadvertently slipped under the referred to line/strip of plastic possible to remove without complete removal. Perhaps I did not have the clasp tight enough? But I did think if I had tightened further, it would have left a harsher imprint on her skin? The degree of tension was enough to see a trace of the ring upon removal where it was placed around her head.In all possibilities, I am not fully claiming the problems I experienced were entirely the fault of the cap? Could I have not tightened enough? Or perhaps I did not fully extend all her hair out correctly? But in my opinion, only, I think a silicone or less rubbery type of plastic would make a great deal of improvement. As it is? The rubber sealed on her skin, and the tiny hair that flowed inside (not a lot of but enough to become enmeshed) was impossible to receive without pulling. I will continue to try, and if I find a better suitable position? I will be happy to update you.It IS a good idea and very cute. Just the inside piece needs improvement, or I need in placement!

I can put it on his head but still won't let me rinse his hair
My son has a learning disability and he absolutely hates to rinse his hair because soap and water gets in his eyes and he starts screaming. He loves to wash his hair and keeps pouring on the shampoo but hates the rinsing part. He doesn't understand the more shampoo he uses, the more we'll have to rinse his head. I thought this shower cap would make rinsing his hair a little bit easier, but he still won't let me rinse his head yet. He'll will allow me to put on the shower cap but he still doesn't want his head anywhere near the shower head where the water is coming out. Washing is okay, I don't need to put on the shower cap because he loves to play with soap and washes his hair by himself. Trying to get him to stand under the stream of water is a different story with the cap. I'm not sure if it's because the cap doesn't seem really sturdily attached when his head is wet and soapy and he doesn't trust it to block all the water and soap from going to his eyes.I can't give it a thumbs up or down because each child may respond differently to the product all I can say is he doesn't trust it will stop all the water and soap from going into his face.

The shower crown is a big hit, but as an ideal hair-washing solution?
The shower crown is a huge hit with our 2 year old granddaughter, but we don't understand how you're supposed to adjust this thing to wash all her hair at the same time. Take a look at the product photos on Amazon and you'll see that the depicted little girl has hair under the rubber band of the crown. Just skip washing all the hair? It doesn't make sense to us.Now that we've received this "crown," we've looked around and this is apparently a common bath-time product for small children. So, apparently some families find it both fun, and helpful as well when washing hair. We're just a bit puzzled about the practical side of this crown.Nevertheless, we're giving it 4 stars because it instantly became a bath-time hit.
