Hi there, No. Both Color Prep and our Natural Hair Color will make hair feel healthier and shinier. Our Natural Hair Color takes 24-48 hours to fully develop; within that development time before the first shampoo, the hair can however feel more dry than usual and that's completely normal as hair will feel back to normal after you shampoo your hair.
