Helps lock in the purple and makes it last longer!
Been using Overtone for several years. This is the daily conditioner which helps to extend the life of the color. Definitely recommend!

Did the formula change??
I've been using this stuff religiously for years and I'm always praising it and recommending it to others. I love Overtone, it's saved me so much time from constantly having to touch my hair up. However, the last two bottles I've gotten of the Extreme Purple are not the same formula that I have been using for years. The consistency is thinner and it's a lighter, pale blue violet colour opposed to the original formula which is a darker, warm indigo purple. Because of this, the conditioner does nothing for my hair colour. It doesn't deposit any dye. I'm so bummed because I am an avid fan of this product and now I'm not sure what to use since it's no longer working for me. Please go back to the original formula!

Terrible Bottle
The product is great, but I have to deduct for the packaging.I use Arctic Fox semi-permanent color every few weeks and Overtone conditioner after every wash to keep my purple hair bright. It always leave my hair with refreshed color and feeling soft.The issue is the bottle. This product is very thick. The bottle lacks a flip top and the plastic is quite hard, making the bottle difficult to squeeze. This resulted in me often getting more product than I needed when it finally came out in one big glop. I ended up investing in a set of Flip It bottle stands to make dispensing a bit easier, but I still find the bottle to be hard to squeeze, especially when it is nearly empty.

Fun purple hair
I used it to create purple streaks in my hair - love that it washes out in just a few washes but the color is vibrant and fun

Overtone did its job- Dyed locs
The picture didnât do it justice but in the light itâs so pretty. My daughter wanted her locs dyed purple and I used this product and it was beautiful and good on her hair. Just make sure if you have Locs you let it sit longer maybe 30-40 minutes so the color will take.
