Inexpensive and convenient disposal of finger stick lancets.
I test for INR every couple of weeks (I'm on a blood thinner), and the little lancets that go into the finger-stick gadget were a hassle to dispose of. They're extremely sharp, and if you don't wrap them securely you'll invariably stab yourself when one of them finds its way to the surface of a trash bag. (The process of wrapping them in tissue is where I gave up an extra sample.) They're also a danger to the people who pick up the trash, and to workers further downstream. One of these tubes has more than enough space for a year's worth of lancets. (If you're a diabetic, you probably use more lancets than I do, but it'll still take a while to fill the tube.) When it's full, you lock it closed, and safely toss it in the trash. It's extremely sturdy, and won't break open even in a compactor.

Great to have when on the go
No longer necessary for me as I had Gestational Diabetes but these were fantastic for on the go. When the tubes got full I just dumped them into a bigger container at home.

Perfect for traveling and out and about days
I used these for traveling to put my used pen needles in. It has been amazing. I do reuse mine but not sealing it as the lid pops in tightly. I keep them in my bag and I also use it for my office days to work and then dump the used needles into my sharps container at home. I would say you could fit probably 10 used pen needles in it. It should be noted that I put my caps back on mine and the plastic casing it comes in as well.

Good for single use
If you need this for a single use then I would give it 5 stars. However, I need it more for a portable container that I can add multiple sharps to it over time. I packed it in my travel bag, and when I went to pick my bag up later the container had opened and spilled used sharps into the bag. Now if I have to travel with it I make sure to add tape over the top to add extra security.
