I have always used GHD’s as my hair is very thick and got a ridiculous kink - I saw a review of these and thought would try them - I would defo recommend as my hair is as straight or even straighter than when I use my GHD’s (albeit quite old ones so probably not as good as should be) I’ve literally done about 8 go through a to get perfectly straight hair ! For this price would defo recommend to get even if for a spare pair !!

Good hair straighteners. These are used on a regular basis for straighening thick hair and work really well. The only downside is that if you have a fringe that you want straightened these are a tad clumbersome and a thinner or single blade set are more effective. Can be done but not as easy as with single blade straightner. Heat settings work well and personally only use at 190 but can go higher if you need. Lights to indicate they are on are bright and easy to see. Note these do burn!

*REVIEW FROM MY DAUGHTER* My daughter and I have long, thick, naturally curly hair. These straighteners are the best we've ever used. I've used GHD's for years until mine broke last week and I can honestly say I will never go back to them. They heat up very quick and I straightened my hair in half the time it takes me using GHD's.

I am really fussy about straighteners, I have had T3, GHD, used to love Remington Wet to Straight, Panasonic, and Glamouriser but hated Tresseme, less than impressed with Nicky Clarke, mixed on Babyliss. This is my first pair of Revlon I think and they are FANTASTIC really quick heat up, lock closed, single simple push to start, they start on the temp they were last used at. Probably no good for curls, but I can’t curl with straightening irons anyway lol! Lock closed Long cord NO SNAG, I cannot stress how smooth they are. I was worried about shorter layers and my fringe cos of the width but no problems. Honestly I love them, the best pair I’ve had for years.

I had ghd straighteners that were getting old but don’t use them enough to warrant an expensive pair so I tried these and they are just amazing! So much better than the ghd’s, can’t curl with them, bit clumpy but very effective.

Heats up within seconds! The plates are great! The use of these are very easy! The glide of the straightener is fantastic! These don't weigh anything! And excellent value for money! I bought these and the hairdryer! Excellent products

For a fraction of the price these are as good my GHDs .I have thin fine coloured hair for which there is a setting ,which works perfectly and I don't feel a need to deviate from .They heat up and cool down quickly .
