Fine Grain, Coarser Grain & Blackened
10.22.22~ Skipping my usual gush for David Chang's savory skills. Will share that I just ordered my 2nd bottle of Black Truffle Chili Crunch.Apparently, I got busted for hiding the 1st one.On to The Sweet Salty Details~* Tingly (Good with Seafood & Veggies including salad)Fine grain salt. Coriander forward which is my fave.Follow with fennel which I don't like but blends into the layers.Hint of black pepper & the delicious Tamari gives a Worcestershire nod* Savory (Meats & Mushrooms)Coarser Grain but not CoarseGot some Black pepper heat and a hint of red pepper. Chili maybe?Sweet saltiness, Smooth depth of Tamari. The heat lingers so better on fatty foods.*Spicy (Blackened Seasoning)Seriously here. They are not even being subtle about the spice.Instantly thought Bloody Mary or something with Guac.Bc it's a proprietary blend the peppers are not disclosed. Just says "Spices"'Spicy' is almost like Hot wings. Grilled jerk ones if you've ever had them.Almost Carribean inspired. Has to have some Mace. Chili is listed but there's more.Been searching for a decent Blackened seasoning not laden with sugar & salt. This Heat is It. Hello Happy Blackened morsels. YumSo ~there you have it.Grab this Variety Sampler. Pick up one that speaks to you. Share with a friend. But I must warn you 'Momofuku' is addicting so don'ts say you weren't warned.

Pretty good seasonings, have been using them often!
Pretty good and tasty seasoning packs! The packaging was cute and secure. Each flavor was different and convenient to have in the pantry. It's nice to have Asian seasonings accessible and premixed.

Unique seasoned salts are a flavorful enhancement to a variety of foods
Momofuku Seasoned Salt Variety Pack by David Chang is a well presented set of three unique combinations. The seasoned salts come in wide mouth glass jars with safety seals around the lids and securely protected in a carton. The combination of ingredients in each of the three varieties, Savory, Tingly and Spicy, are well balanced. I’m enjoying trying all three on different foods and they are a wonderful enhancement. In addition to the unique flavors, the presentation of these seasoned salts is also unique. This lid is solid rather than a shaker top and I realized how much better this works for me since I tend to have too heavy a hand with shakers. A serving size is a quarter teaspoon which is the ideal way for me to use it.Momofuku Seasoned Salt Variety Pack by David Chang is a flavorful trio of tasty blends that add just the right amount of extra flavor to food. The expiration date on the carton that I received is one year in the future.

Excellent flavored salts with variety; wish safety/freshness sealing was better, as in there
I've tried some products from Momofuku before and found them to be flavorful and excellent. Thankfully, these salts are no exception. Each salt is unique and has the potential to pack a flavor punch to a dish! That doesn't mean each flavor is equal, but truthfully they almost are."Savory" - this is your more classic savory seasoned salt. It's got ingredients such as union, pepper, garlic, etc. Best as an all-purpose seasoning that will pair well with anything and should please any tastebud. I did find this salt to be coarser than the other two."Tingly" - my least favorite, but some might find this one the most unique. It is more herby and has some interesting ingredients, such as sichuan peppercorn, kelp. What brought it down for me is that it has fennel, one of my least favorite seasonings, but it gives it more of an "italian" vibe."Spicy" this seasoning has a surprising amount of kick and came with a big warning sticker on top, hilariously. It's flavorful and includes chili pepper. You won't want to go crazy with this salt, unless you love spicy food! One criticism - the packaging. These salts just had loose plastic rings around the top of the lids as "protection". There was no foam or plastic seal between the lid and the product. The plastic ring provided was so loose you could twist the lid open and then twist it back on without damaging the ring. When I order something online I want a little more protection than that.Overall, though, I enjoyed these salts and would recommend them. They have a great flavor variety and are big enough to last a while.

Amazing flavor filled granules
I’ll be the first to admit when you first look at these flavor granules, they do not look particularly appetizing. I very much enjoyed the savory flavor because it can really be put on literally anything. It had a very deep earthy flavor. I tasted cumin and some rich Bouillon base type flavors as well. I was concerned with the tingly because I was afraid it would be hot or spicy but it was not. I put it over eggs as you can see from my photos. It actually had more of a salty taste than anything that was spicy or hot. It was not spicy at all. The spicy I will admit is a bit spicy. If you like some thing with a bit of a kick, you will like that. As for me my favorites were the savory and the tingly. I know the brown color can be offputting, but to be honest it does kick your cooking up to the next level.

Delicious seasoned salts, but expensive
This is the third product I have ordered from Momofuku on Amazon. The quality of their products is excellent. They are definitely "restaurant quality" as they say on their product page. But they are also expensive. With this variety pack of 3 flavors, you're paying $13 for each 4-ounce bottle of salt. That's a lot, but if you save these salts for special occasions then they can last a long time. The 3 varieties that are included in this pack are savory, spicy, and tingly. They all taste amazing to me. If you want to add some flavor to some of the dishes you normally cook, I would recommend giving these salts a try.
