It’s easy to set up if you pay attention to the directions which I did not do the first time, but after sitting there waiting for 15 minutes I read the complete instructions. I’m not sure why people are saying the buttons are hard to push because they are fine no issues at all. I love it and if you’re looking for something fun this is your best purchase ! I’m glad my daughter bought it for me for my birthday!!

I had great memories of this toy as a child, but I don't know if I would repurchase for my daughter. It doesn't have any way to turn it off or pause it. I know that's probably how it always has been, but with technology now, it would be better to have a "pet" that you can at least tell what hours to be active in. It is active at all times...even when my child is at school. She obviously can't take care of it then and then it tends to die quickly. She gets very frustrated. Not sure I would rebuy even though the nostalgia is fun for me.

I had one of these as a kid and thought it would be perfect for my 5 year old daughter. She loves it and I occasionally mess around with it too.Works perfectly, instructions are very helpful and battery life so far is good.WARNING*If you do not train your pet to pester you 24/7 it will beep at you a few times after you set it down for awhile. Like it’s lonely and wants attention. I heard the little guy beeping twice in the middle of the night a few nights since Christmas but it was only the nights my daughter had been playing with it shortly before bed.So for any parents getting this for their younger children, if they play with it before bed, make sure it is in a place it won’t wake anyone up 😂ALSO if your pet passes away for whatever reason, there is a small reset button on the back so you can start over!Enjoy 😊
