Color:Black, One Side Textured  |  Size:Thickness .118", Size - 24" x 24" ABSIs a general purpose ABS product that has good impact strength, and good hot strength for thermo forming. It is an amorphous thermoplastic material and therefore, processes easier than some other thermoplastic materials.Applications:ABS may be used for interior applications such as appliance parts, tub and shower wall surrounds, and interior automotive trim. With the addition of a weatherable cap it may also be used in many outdoor applications.Finishing:Parts made with ABS may be joined with machine screws, bolts, nuts, rivets, and spring steel fasteners. Thread cutting or thread-forming screws is an economical means of securing separate joints. Formed parts may be joined with Methylene Chloride if maximum impact strength is not required. Press and snap techniques and sonic welding may also be used for the bonding of ABS.End uses of ABS include:Tub/shower surroundsPickup truck capsBoat accessories\ automotive trim partsComputer housings.

Great for an animal cage
I purchased this item to use in a wood ferret cage that did not have a bottom. My husband scuffed up the smooth side, glued it to a thin sheet of plywood, and then nailed it into the bottom of the cage. I then used an animal safe sealant on the inside of the cage to keep any accidents from seeping between the wood and the plastic. The item is perfect for what we are using it for - no defects or size issues - and it's super easy to clean which is a life saver!

Good for ABS motorcycle fairing repair
I purchased this ABS plastic to cut and mold for repairing broken motorcycle fairings. It was just the right thickness. One side is textured and the other side is sheer. I used the textured side for the inside of my fairings and the sheer side for the exterior. Molding the plastic sheet to match the contours of the fairing was fairly simple using a 1200w heat gun. If I ever need to repair more ABS plastic I will certainly get another sheet of this.

Good product, workable with tin snips, 0.06 size is the thickness of a penny.
I used this plastic sheet for reparing my Prius underbody, where the oil change splash-shield door fell off. It was easy to handle and cut to shape, and the results are perfect. This plastic is easily cut with a small pair of tin snips, but it is too thick to cut with normal scissors. It also could be cut on a table saw or with a hand held saw. The size I ordered (0.06) is about the thickness of a US penny.PLEASE NOTE!!This is NOT textured the same on both sides!! One side of this sheet is smooth and glossy and shows scratches unbelievably well. The other side is a mottled, textured plastic surface. Be sure this isn't a problem for your project.

Motorcycle Fender
It worked for what I wanted it for, a fender for my bike. It was easy to cut, mold, and it held its shape very well. Flexible enough to withstand offroad use, and stiff enough to hold my plate.

PITA !
They choose to put their product sticker right in the middle of the sheet instead of in the corner. The adhesive is so gummy that you will spend more time attempting to remove the adhesive than the product is worth. In this day and age of specialized adhesives, you'd think a plastics supplier would come up w/ a better way to mark their product or at least use an easily peeled vinyl sticker.

but if your tolerances are super tight, be aware this might be an issue
Decent enough ABS, readily dissolves with Acetone, typical 1 side textured 1 side smooth.Problem is every dimention is off. I ordered .177" thick x 12" x 24" , I got .125" x 11 7/8 x 23 7x8. It wasn't a problem for what I needed, but if your tolerances are super tight, be aware this might be an issue.

Thick and sturdy
If you need to do any sort of Kydex molding for heavier applications, this will work. Takes a while to heat up and cools fairly quickly, but was usable for the application I needed when making a cheek riser for a rifle. Holds its shape very well and doesn't have any flex. I ended up trying a variety of temperatures and times until I got it right - around 200 for 10 minutes or so, but I only used a quarter of the sheet. Suggest working up in temperatures - you can always try again vs going too hot and ruining the material.

Better than expected.
This is better than I expected. I expected a cheap flimsy piece of black plastic. What I got was something a little thicker than poster board and textured like the plastic trim in an older vehicle.I am using this to make a map light for my old hunting vehicle.
