This and a You-Tube video and you are set to put new life in your watch
Beware that getting the G-shock watch screws out of the wrist band are a BEAR. Other than that, it's a piece of cake and the watch works great once more.

Perfect Replacement For Casio Wave Ceptor
My old Casio Ceptor solar radio automatic time adjust watch had been abandoned for many years. This beautiful watch still worked but the rechargeable battery was tired. This battery was the perfect replacement and she is as good as new! It was wonderful to see everything working again!

No brand name on package - - But battery does say PANASONIC CTL 1616F on it. ??
Came packaged in small plastic bag: Marked GENUINE PARTS CTL 1616 FOR CASIO. NO BRAND NAME ON THE PACKAGING. BUT BATTERY IS ENGRAVED WITH THE PANASONIC NAME - AND CTL 1616F and "JAPAN" on it.I lost my G-Shock Casio Black plastic bank style Waveseptor somewhere - Its $16 solar rechargeable battery was going bad. I had took it to an experienced Watch maker and ask him to change the battery. He said the watch had no battery in it . But two "Capacitors" that were soldered in, one for the light one for the watch. He wanted $36 to change one Capacitor. I said no thanks, and continued to use it, but it would go dead if not in sun at all times. That lead to me loosing the watch somewhere because I keep taking it off. I may find it some day, then I will need another battery like this one. .So I pulled out a metal band Dress style WaveCeptor Solar charging watch that I bought at the same time as the sports G shock solar WaveCeptor 12 years ago. Well it was dead also. 12 years never out of the box. I was worried. Put under light bulb for a few hours . Nothing - exposed it to sun light for 60 minutes and it started working then goes back dead or asleep a few hours later, but would come back to life in the morning sun with the correct time on it. . Obviously watch working, solar pane's working, but battery not holding a charge, so I ordered this one. I ordered this battery, the one that says CTL not CL - don't get confused , this is the battery that can be charged by solar cells and NOT the plain CL 1616 for $3.00. I know it sucks - but they warn you about that in the watch battery - i.e. use the exact battery !Well I need to go watch the YouTube videos on changing the battery in this type of sophisticated watch before I attempt the replacement, but first I have to figure out how to get the metal band off the watch , and to remove one or two links in the band also so that it will fit my arm..If the battery work or the replacement does not go well I will revise my review. Good Value - easy to find
Remote for SUV takes two batteries , these worked out well, next step is to see how long they last.

Rechargeable Battery for Casio WV-300
Installed CTL1616 rechargeable battery in my 13+ year old Casio Wave Ceptor WV-300 (module #3023) solar watch. The Panasonic labeled battery has now been successfully running my Casio for over 4 months and everything seems good. Hoping for another 13 years for the Casio, and for me.Easy install, but these types of batteries (capacitors) are more easily damaged when shorted by tweezers or through skin conductance and skin oil. So, use insulated tip tweezers, vinyl gloves or finger tips, or something to push or prod the battery into place that is non-conductive. And, when opening the case, be careful about damaging the gasket and also losing some tiny springs (3) that may pop out.

Works perfect
Delicate install. Not rocket science.Seems to be working perfectly despite my giant thumbs.

Exactly what you expect
What can I say, this is a factory replacement and is exactly the same as my 25+ year-old original battery. Installed it, very easy, charged it on a solar watch charger for an hour, everything worked again, just like the day I bought it. For sake of information, the old battery still showed "full charge" but many functions did not work, particularly the backlight - apparently not enough current to light it up, and the RF reception was really weak to the point it wouldn't sync. Replacement battery and a brief charge, bingo, bright backlight and synced successfully in the early evening - usually that fails, it has to wait until the scheduled time at 3 AM. If your G-Shock Atomic is working but acting "funny", it may just be the battery
