Works well.
I am using it on an R9 270X GPU and an old PSU that did not have PCI-E. Works good. I was using the adapter that ASUS sent with the GPU, similar to this one but it needed two 4-pin molex cables per 6-pin PCIe cable and two separate adapters. About a month of using those adapters, one of them literally went up in smoke. The 4-pin molex part of the cable was charred black but luckily there was no damage to the PSU or GPU. My guess is that one of the power wires was loose and caused some kind of short. This one is well made - the 4-pin plugs are tight fits and the wires are neatly insulated. But, if you can afford a new power supply, that is the ideal way to go over buying an adapter. I eventually picked up a Corsair CX430 430 watt PSU for $10 off of T. Direct after a nice promo code discount and $20 mail in rebate. I still need to use this adapter though because the 270X requires two 6-pin PCIe cables and the CX430 only comes with one 6+2 pin.

Arrived damaged
I am re building my computer and was very excited tat I could receive parts so quickly. Until I did receive the product and two pins were missing out of it causing it not to work, very disappointed.

good cable overall, but low quality molex connectors
This is a very good, high quality* cable that provides a lot of options for providing power to your PCI-express devices. If you try to use BOTH PCI-e plugs, I imagine that this would not work on some higher powered cards. I am just using one PCI-e power out plug, since I need to provide lots of power to an AMD R9 290 card. I like this cable so much, I'm going to buy a couple more.*UPDATE: I bought 4 more of these cables, and now I'm downgrading this cable to 4 stars. It is still a pretty darn good cable, but there is a very annoying problem. The two (2) molex connectors are the kind with wobbly pins, where you have to wiggle the wires to try to get all 3 pins to fit in place at once. I know that it is possible to make high quality (or even medium quality) molex connectors where wobbly pins are not a problem, but apparently they skimped on that part when manufacturing these cables. It is funny because the rest of the cable seems to be very high quality. BE CAREFUL when plugging this in to your power supply's molex connectors, so you don't smash or otherwise damage the pins on this cable. This thing is not good for disconnecting and reconnecting the molex over and over and over. I'm sure it would break sooner rather than later. That being said, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. This cable is still a lifesaver for me.

4 Dollars and A Penny Well Spent!
Have this cable connected to 2 molex cables from my PSU to help power an R9 Fury GPU. The cables look and feel like they're made of good quality, and have a mesh around the main cables. So far the cables are delivering power reliably and everything is stable. The only thing I would have to tell you is that installing the molex cables are a bit of a challenge. So be careful not to ruin any of the molex pins when installing since they are a bit wobbly inside the molex pin casing. But after getting the hang of connecting one of the pins, then connecting the other molex pins onto your PSU shouldn't be a hassle.

Extremely difficult to plug in
The molex connectors are extremely difficult to connect, even for molex connectors. I had to fight for half an hour to get reasonable contact and it still makes me a little nervous. But other than that it works fine and it's nice that you get two PCIe connectors out of only two molex connectors.

Great Cable
I purchased this adapter to install my GTX-1060 SSC graphics card. My motherboard doesn't have the required 8-pin power cable and this adapter plugged right into 2 of the extra 4-pin Molex plugs I have without any of the loose pin issues I've read about in other reviews. It seems to be well built and has a black jacket covering all the wires along with heat shrink at the connectors. My GPU only requires one 8-pin plug but this adapter has 2 so it can accommodate more powerful cards that have dual 8-pin connectors or it can power 2 GPUs with single plugs. Shipping was fast and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

It somehow works
I'm not an electrical engineer, but I'm surprised this cable even works. Lots of posts on the internet suggest such a cable is impossible. And even looking at it, there are tons of pins duplicated and crossed, it looks like it shouldn't do what it does. But it works. Used it with an AMD 6970, cranked it up with 3DMark, and everything still worked fine. Cable wasn't even warm. I'm impressed.

Gets the job done. Barely
This cable had definite problems with cheap connectors. It was hard to get it connected to the existing power supply in my unit. I had to physically bend the prongs inside the connectors to align them with the existing plugs. Once I did that, it has been working. Note that you will want the plug with two yellow wires to be on a cable by itself -- e.g. no hard drives etc. also plugged into it. The single yellow wire can be on a line that has other devices on it. Once I got done messing with it, things ARE working, but the loose pins really were a pain in the beginning.
