Does this work as a facial moisturizer? I would be using it while on accutane if that helps

Yes it does! I would recommend using this after a humectant like the neutrogena hydroboost gel it works really well at sealing in the moisture from gel products. Applying this on wet skin right after a shower also helps prevent transepidermal water loss and helps retain moisture in your skin.

I have used this product 7-24 for 10 years. It is not greasy or oily. I would describe it as slightly waxy feeling with a silky residue when dry on the skin. The good thing for me (man) is that it protects my skin without appearing as if I have on a lotion or cream. It is lubricating and protective but not visible to others.

What’s the difference between the daily moisturizing lotion and the moisturizering cream?

I personally only see a very slight difference in the moisturizing cream and the lotion with the thickness. That's why I like this product because they are both very thick. I like that.
