Very strong!
I was looking for a money clip to carry some cash for my holiday. I didn’t realise that it came as a pack of two. They are really good quality and very strong, holding notes in place securely.

Sturdy, inexpensive, should be good for travel
The first thing to say is that it is very stiff (which I suppose is good in the long run). Have not used a money clip before and it took me a while to work out how to insert notes easily (by holding the ends of the wad tightly together and gently pushing the notes in, ends first). Similarly, as far as I can see, the best way to take money out is to pull out the entire wad and then peel off the notes that you want to use.Still, it does the job of keeping paper money together in a small, pocketable space, is very inexpensive and should be useful when used to store a different currency when travelling.

As above, it does what it should.It's sturdy, not scratchy, and takes small and large amounts of notes.I am not sure about giftable - it is quite plain (which I like), but it could be engraved and put into a nice box, that would work.
