Quality at an affordable price
These are an amazing option for a chicken diaper! The fit is great. Yes, they are a bit smaller than I thought, but just size up. The price is amazing! You cannot find chicken diapers for this price anywhere. I do wish the patterns were different, but whatever. Thank you seller for making quality chicken diapers at a quality price.

Buy if you enjoy stressed chickens
I originally bought from this company when they made diapers a little differently. I was completely happy and recommended them to so dozens of chicken owners. Apparently the company is not making them that way, or theyโre not selling them on Amazon anymore. But this new design puts so much stress on my chickens that it broke my heart in two! I am so sorry I ever even bought these and tried putting these on my birds. It was horrific! My heart is racing just remembering so I can share here now how terrified my birds were. These diapers are not the way to go for chickens. They might be fine for ducks, but I sure wish this company would do the right thing and go back to the old diapers for the chickens. The only thing nice about this new diaper was the wider elastic. I didnโt like the sliding piece on it as much as I thought I would. I think the old design with thicker elastic and maybe even someway to attach the two pieces of elastic that can be manually adjusted for each bird as needed at home with some kind of movable ability to be slid up and down the link of those two pieces of elastic instead of putting the bow on there like this design that is sewn on and doesnโt move. Each bird is different and they need to be able to have their diapers adjusted along the length of their back to fit each birds specific needs If the company wants a bow on the back linking the two pieces of elastic it would be incredibly beneficial if the bow linking the elastic pieces could be attached to some device or even a piece of Velcro with both sides of the Velcro sandwiching the elastic so it could be slid up and down the length of the two elastic pieces it joined together adjust to better fit the bird. The way it is right now doesnโt help anything. And I donโt know about everyone else, but my birds hate bows, whether they are on their back or on the chest like they were on the previous style. Another thing that made it difficult for them to walk was the shape of the cup in the back. They are not used to a long cup that hangs far behind them, and it made them incredibly unsteady which added to their fright. Please go back to the previous style with thicker elastic and remove the bow off the chest. It was useless and it did not hold up well even though the diapers held up great. The bow ruined the look of the diapers after a few washing. Had it not been there? The diapers wouldโve still looked great. And if you can find a way to link the two elastic pieces together on the birds back and adjust it to fit them, not keep it sewn in place and useless like it is with this current use of the bow, I think everyone will be much happier.

Not waterproof, but it is easy to take on and off and very cute
I have a pet chicken and I got this for her when she was little so I could keep her inside and cuddle with her and not have to worry about her shitting in my house. She has gone out of the size small I got her so I came back to write a review for it. Honestly, itโs not a bad diaper for chickens. Especially cause it ties all the way and has adjustable straps. If you wanna make it smaller or bigger the only issue my chicken was having was the thick straps. The straps are very thick and she hated that she would try to take it off because of the thick straps. She would feel the straps around her and she hated it. I would give it a full five star if the straps were thinner for now. The straps are way too thick and my chicken was not liking it and she will try to take it off. As far as waterproofing goes. It really isnโt waterproof. Sometimes My chicken would drink a lot of water and she would have a little bit of a watery poop, and it would just leak and the diaper would get really wet and she would hate the witness and will try to take it out so no, itโs not waterproof what I used to do is I would put another piece of plastic inside the little poop catcher to make sure the water doesnโt seep through and honestly, it still wouldnโt help but it was better than nothing. So if you are looking for a chicken diaper, that is easy to put on and takeoff and is cute I would say this is exactly what you need but if you are looking for a chicken diaper, that is waterproof and your chicken would not try to take it off and itโs very comfortable for your chicken. I would say this is not the one for you Because like I said it is not waterproof and the straps are very thick.

XL Works with alterations
We have a winter in house care ailing Wyandotte. This item works lined with a half medium absorption feminine pad and had to extend the elastic to fit. If her condition gets better may be able to get away with a thinner liner but she needs the heavier fluid absorption. Small reservoir allows for about 3-4 hours with change. Well constructed. Not Waterproof or absorbent on own. Utilizes hooks like on bra straps which are adjustible, durable and hold. No velcro. Elastic straps are comfy and tolerated. Let her see it first, rubbed it on her then laid it on her back on/off for first day. She's very passive and tolerant without her alpha sister. She accepts wearing the diaper well. Easy wash in sink with hot water and hand soap. Hang to dry. Nice to have 3. Cute patterns. Life saver not having to burn through a large number of medical chucks in her kennel and on her heated ottoman.

Overall decent!
I got these for our house silkie. Please keep in mind I have never had a house chicken before. These are perfectly sized for a bantam hen silkie. They hold everything is, and they are easy to clean (I clean with faucet outside, let them sun dry, and then wipe with clorox). With that being said, the green shamrock seems to be slightly smaller than the other two somewhere in the straps, as it sits on her oddly. Also, the bows are a little high up-we have to position the diaper part super high or else the bow chokes her and sits way over her crop and she starts to flip out over it (literally. She will walk backwards and do backflips. Funny, but probably not the best) Overall, I like these. My suggestion to the brand would be to make the bows adjustable while keeping the back part adjustable so every little chickie has the perfect fit!

Your ducks may or may not thank you, your house will
Great product, mixed results. The call duck is convinced that this is an inventive and cruel attempt on his life, the crested solo-hatch just recognizes that we're nuts and rolls with it lol. It allows him to roam the house without dropping bombs everywhere, so we're all happy. It fits him well, stays in place, and looks cute. As for the call duck...he's a tiny ball of anxiety, so I don't know that it'll ever work for him. We shall see.

WAY TOO SMALL
I have a small hen that is going to live out her remaining time as a house hen. She is very skinny and MUCH smaller than the other hens. I consider her extremely small for a hen, but ordered the medium and figured I could adjust the straps. What I received was WAY too small. Had the maker added several more inches to the adjustable elastic straps I could make it work by the bow being on the front of her neck vs her back, but these straps were so short I would say it would fit a large pigeon at best. VERY disappointed. I fear trying to order diapers again, so I ordered elastic bed sheet fasteners and will try to make due, but the cuteness will not be the same. So sad.

Almost killed my chicken
Over all, these are great. However, I have a huge problem with the bows. They are placed arbitrarily and cannot be adjusted. The rest of the fit was perfect for my chicken. I am so glad I stayed in the room with her for a while. I heard an awful sound and saw her gasping for air. The bow was too close to the chest portion, causing the straps to shift to her neck instead of her shoulder joint. It was terrifying and took her a few minutes to regain full consciousness. I removed the bows and put elastic on them so I can shift them toward the tail to keep my girls safe. Please change your design so no one loses a beloved pet!!!
