Garage Door Opene Remote,Replacement for Intellicode Genie & Overhead Door Opener, ACSCTG Type1 Type 3

I needed to replace my garage door remote and found this product on Amazon as a back-up for my in-car remote so it's not being routinely used. But it was simple to program and serves the purpose for which I bought it.

These were easy to set up and work as they should. They aren’t as heavy duty as the originals and seem to have less range but are 1/3 the cost. I would buy again if needed.

Very easy to setup this remote; the instructions the package comes with are very easy to follow; I set up both remotes in a matter of minutes. My old set of remotes, even with fresh batteries, don't seem as responsive as these (longer distance and don't need to press the button as hard). It comes with some extra buttons which I personally have no use for, but could come in hand for something else I'd imagine. Great product, and a steal at the price compared to the $40+ per remote some places charge!

Before finding this garage opener, I tried four others in a week and was frustrated because none of the previous openers did what they promised. However, this one worked exactly as described in the instruction video; it literally took me just two seconds to program. I give this product my highest recommendation.

This product works great.

Took me less than 5 minutes to open the package and program the remotes for my two doors. For the Overhead Door Legacy model (mine is from 2004) press the “Learn” button once till it is in learn mode. Then hold the remote at least 3 feet from the opener unit and press whichever button you want for that door two times (just a regular button press; not fast and not slow). Then with the next press of the button the door opens!! Some reviews said that this unit was less flimsy than the original Overhead Door remote, but for me it is the opposite. This remote is waaaay more stout. Also some say that the buttons are stiff; the buttons on the remotes I received are not stiff. I am very pleased, mainly because getting replacement remotes directly from Overhead Doors is very expensive. These are so nice and $15 for 2!! There are 3 buttons on each unit, I only have two doors so I programmed the third button for one of the two doors. Also I am purchasing another set of these remotes now as a backup.
