I just received this about 10 minutes ago, opened it and placed it out on the porch. It's gorgeous! Yes, as people have stated, it does have lines from being folded. But usually, if you lay some heavy items across it for a while, those will flatten out. Considering it's meant to be more for something like camping and not a normal rug, I think it's just right. It comes in a nice carry bag. It's easy to open up and lay out. It is very light so I wouldn't leave it out during a windy day. I would say it's made of soft straw. It's pliable, but tough enough to walk across. I'm sure it will snag if you put something like metal on it that does not have the velvet bottoms as you would find on chair legs. Of course it's new, so the color is vibrant. I'm sure it would fade if it was in the sun too much. But again, I don't think it's meant to be too permanent. Mine will be on the porch as a permanent fixture. But since it's so lightweight and easy to fold, if the weather gets bad, I can bring it in. I'm so glad to have made this purchase!

Great product. Tends to dry pretty fast after it rains, only complaint it the colors is fading after one summer.

I am a vendor at art festivals and I like to have a ground cover, especially when I'm set up in grass. I had been using a regular indoor/outside rug. The problem with it was that it wouldn't start down along the edges, making it a tripping hazard. I could roll it up but it was still 5' long which made it trickier to transport and store. This rug has corner loops which show me to tie the corners up to my tent poles, making it lay flat, better looking and safer. It easily folds back up into a cube less than 1' cubed, and slips right back into it's carrying case. Very lightweight, easy to carry around. Cleans up with a hose. And it has a really nice design. I've only used it in 3 shows, but it has held up to a lot of foot traffic so far. I think it's a great rug for the money.

This is a great outdoor rug that seems to hide the dirt you would expect being outside. I am pleased with the pattern, and the sizes available. If I’d I had one wish, the rug might have been a tad thicker to help keep the wind from flipping up the corners. A small idea for a good product!

I wound up not keeping this. The design is very cute, it was the perfect size for what I needed, and it is soft to walk on. It arrived folded up and I figured the folds would go away over time. I had it on a second floor balcony so I’m not sure if it just wasn’t flat enough, but unfortunately, the folds never went away. Being on the second floor it was easy for wind to come underneath it and blow the edges as well. There are loops on the corners to nail down if you choose to, but I’m not able to nail anything onto the balcony as I’m renting. I wound up deciding I needed something heavier. If you’re able to nail it down, I think maybe the folds would go away, and the wind wouldn’t get under it, but I can’t say for sure.

The photo used to advertise this straw mat is comical! The size I received is perfect to use right outside the double-pane sliding door to my backyard. I got this to make sure my dog's paws don't get burned in the summer when he steps onto the deck/concrete in my backyard. You do need to nail the corners to the ground or use some weight to keep the mat corners down/prevent it from shifting. Overall, this may serves my needs and has withstood hot sun, rain, and even snow without fraying! It gets warm under the Texas sun er sun but not hot. If you are looking for a heavier/weighted outdoor mat that doesn't need to be weighed down to prevent shifting, I'd keep searching.

Hermoso diseño, es como tejida por rafia.

Me gustó el material y diseño, sin embargo es demasiado ligero, si está sin algo de peso se puede volar con el viento. Venía empacado doblado y las marcas de los dobleces no se quitaron a pesar de que lo dejé en el sol para que se calentara el plástico, pero no se quitaron, espero que con el uso.
