Will hold hooks and pliers good. They are thicker than I expected but still fit good.

I ordered two of these for my kayak and I am very excited to get them installed! They arrived today and they are awesome! The magnet is definitely strong enough to hold any fishing tools and or lures I will be using. I love the fish hook inspired logo across the front and the fish scale printed across the face. They look really good.

This product category has a plethora of options on the market. The same simple concept works well not only for fishing, but identical brackets are used for gun mounting in vehicles. Pricing for magnets for gun mounting have stronger magnets, with similar or even cheaper price points.This works great for holding a knife, or fishing lures or something. Forget about anything larger in terms of being secure. It may hold something large, but in a boat with a little movement, it will likely come loose.Just for reference, I was able to find a 4-pack of gun mounting blocks for $25, also on Amazon. So again, I think there is a large disparity between price and product. I think this is a fair criticism.One thing I will say is that the product itself does have a good build quality. If you use it for light use, I doubt you would have any issue whatsoever.

This magnet is described as a 'Fishing Magnet.' This description doesn't fit what is the best use for it. Somebody might use it for a traditional fishing magnet, but it's more efficient for holding tools, etc. This is a rectangular magnet with holes for mounting screws at each corner. Mounting screws are provided. There are also two 3M mounting strips for attaching this magnet to non-magnetic surfaces. The exterior of the magnet is completely covered in rubber, which prevents damage to items attached to it. The magnet has a strong attraction for metal items.I used the 3M mounting strip and attached this magnet to my wooden workstation. The magnet holds two screwdrivers and a small wrench I use constantly on my projects. The magnet holds the items securely. I like the rubber coating, which prevents a 'clink' when I put the tools back on it.

I was looking for the perfect fishing gift for my dad and stumbled up on this product as I searched for tackle storage. He always has loose hooks and fishing lures in the boat. I was excited to see a product like this. Now, he has one on his boat and one in the garage. Everything sticks to this magnet. If you are looking for a great and unique finishing gift, I highly recommend it!!!

The Juju magnet made a great accessory to our boat! It holds our bait knives, hooks, and pliers with ease. Very strong magnet. I highly recommend getting a Juju magnet if you are serious about fishing.
